24 cars?

How can you race 24 cars on track?I only get 20,me and 19 opponents...

I think it's limited to certain missions and tests in campaign mode.

There are a few driving missions where there are 30 cars on track (the 30 min endurance in the Porsche 911 RSR as an example)

Yes, the game supports at least 30 cars on track, sadly we cannot experience this outside of the endurance mission.

22 is sports mode max
20 is custom race max
16 is lobby max

Shame, because the endurance mission runs fluidly.

Really strange decision to limit this in arcade mode or custom race to 20 cars... especially CUSTOM race 💡

Not sure why custom race and arcade mode are limited, as said above it actually runs pretty smooth, but the online modes may stress the hardware more.

The other thing that I'd really like to see is the ability to set up a mixed class race in arcade mode/ custom race.

Yea mixed class custom races would be great!

Just wonder if the 'Endurance' races (Hoping they actually are) in GT League will be mixed class. Would be fun to do a 12hr race in a Gr.4 against Gr.1 and 3 cars!

Sometimes when I select the 20 cars total on certain tracks, it seems like certain tracks are not able to accommodate that many racers... so many cars against walls or playing dodgem. shame really.

If it was a legit rally, its one at a time. time stamping.
But since this is more "arcady" rally, i'd say the full 20(19+you) or maybe 12(11+you).

Oh man, I am GOING TO RUIN YOUR DAY. Rally in GT sports only supports TWO cars. Yep folks TWO. Interestingly campaign has 12 cars with a rock solid frame rate. This game can only handle 16 cars on teh base pro with a solid frame rate, 20 cars on track makes the game dip 24/7 to the mid /high 50's .
