RLM are saying Audi are going to quad stint drivers and tyres, could this be Audi's secret weapon?

I doubt it. In fact, I think it's a risky strategy because they haven't even double-stinted a set of tyres yet this season. We'll see how the race progresses, but my money is still on the 908s.

McNish into 4th and the second Audi will pass the Peugeot soon. Still very much off the pace of the official Peugeots comfortably in the 3 top places.

Let's see... Not looking good for Audi.

Is Jaguar still in the race, or have they called it quits?

From what I've heard, the car has a harmonic vibration that causes the ECU's to fail and this results in a miss-fire, which after 30 minutes in the pits clears itself and it's fine to go out again. I can't see it retiring but sitting in the pits for 22hours and crossing the line for a classified finish.

Don´t the rules say they have to finish at least 70% of the class winners number of laps to be classified?

I wouldn't put it past Audi to try to quad stint. Remember 2 years ago they triple stinted drivers and tires to beat Puegot and it worked then. They will probably have to try something of the sort to win here.

Mmm I'm not sure.

I guess it could still be used as a test session.

They can't compete with the Pugs on speed around the track. Granted, they may be faster in a straight line, but the SC period cost them. But if there's a team with superior strategies, it's Audi. Long race and we're in for a good one.

I thought Audi TV would be useless but it's a good supplement if you have other footage & RLM.

And the Art car goes into the garage...not a good sign.

Hmmm...if people keep dropping like this, JLOC could get a good finish! :)

Wow, so he´s still trying to get back to the pits with that Ford? Long way to run if your car is a real mess.
