Maseratti could toss in their GranTurismo MC car in the mix. and Azcari could appear. Who knows, maybe we'll even see a Tesla car randomly appear. (although, probably not.)

If Ferrari runs in that class, Maserati will not. They have said that they will replace the MC12 though, so maybe a GranTurismo GT1 for the WC? Ascari aren´t made in sufficient numbers. Niether is Koenigsegg when I think about it, but in the case of Ascari, about 2/3 of their production in ´08 was GT3 cars. IIRC their entire annual production was 9 cars...
 
Aha.. The Live Timing isn't working anymore for the last 15 minutes. Just realized it as the BMW is still in front of the Saleen.
 
I don't really have an opinion either way for the prototypes, but why does it seem that most of you guys are for Audi?
 
Audi up to 2nd place now? 1 more Peugeot to have reliability troubles and Audi will take the lead.

Drayson Lola in the pits also with fuel pressure problems. Another team i'm backing who have had trouble.👎
 
Bad stuff happening for Peugeot... Is the BMW already back out anyway?? The Live Timing is still not working yet and I have no idea what's going on out there.

I know im rooting for Audi because they are the underdog in the race. They cant win this race on speed they have to win on strategy and everything has to go perfect for them to win. So far they are doing everything right and they just need to out last the #2 now.
 
of course the diesel cars are going to win. They've got nearly 1000ft-lbs of torque. They're WAAAAAAAAY faster than the petrol cars

Because they are the underdogs...and because if the Pugs are behind then they have to drive flat out and we love when cars run at the limit.

The Brits don't like the French 'cause they've beaten 'em more than once in racing. Peugeot, Citroen, Renault...just to name a few.
