In the 24 Hour races is it possible to go from start to finish in sunny weather or will it definitely rain at some point?

If it does rain does it start randomly or always start at about the same time?

I have done 4 x A-Spec and 1 x B-Spec 24h races, all started in sunny conditions. It rained in all of those for at least one hour. I have yet to see an all dry race.

B-spec 24hr Le-man running at the moment and no sign of rain with 1.5 hours to go.

I think it would be almost impossible, or lucky to get a dry race in the 24 hours becausse the weather change is too quick.
You can get a dry race in the Suzuka endurance because that only takes about 6 hours.

It may not rain but it will certainly go dark...

Just finished the 24 Le Mans on A-spec last week...

Was sun throughout the whole race. Not a single drop of rain.

Maybe I just got lucky ;)

15 hours into A-Spec 24h La Sarthe, rain startede after 10h30m. Daylight broke after approx. 12h30m of racing. Still raining.

Rain stopped after 19h30m of racing
Roads were dry after 20h00m.

I've had very light rain in my Le Mans 24 A-Spec run - so that I didn't even had to change my tyres nor did it affect my lap times. So it's definitely possible that you are more or less not affected by rain. :)

For each instance of loading the track, you will get one set of weather.

I recently started a 24 hr run and got rain showers starting at 32 minutes in. Then I had a huge off and decided to restart the race. Second attempt rain came at the same time.

Just FYI if you plan on running a few Le Mans back to back like me.

Regarding your question / according to my experience "Le mans 24h * 3times", "Nurburgring 24h *2times"
A: It definitely rain randomly at some point
B:Adjust max down force for front and rear
C: Racing tire : F/soft , R/midien

"Nurburgring 24h " walk through ..

Hope that might help you !

Thanks for all the replies. Just finished my Le Mans 24 Hours. Took me 5 days at 5 hours a day! Thankfully it stayed dry all the way through! Hopefully my Nurburgring 24 Hours will stay dry throughout too!

i just completed b spec 24hr le mans and it didn't rain at all. it did cloud up for the last 3 hours though

just to be clear it doesnt go dark every 3 laps or so then light again like the time change in practice mode right?

Nope. It's in real time. LeMans 24 Hours starts at 3:00pm local time. Not sure about the 'Ring 24 Hours.
