I just got back from work today and I turned on my ps3 just out of interest, to check where all the cars were placing in the race. So I open up the list and to my surprise I see the results as this.
RESULTS AFTER 22 HOURS
1.X2010 (My Bob)
2.Pescarlo C60 Hybride
3.Audi R10 TDI
4.AMG Mercedes CLK Race car
5.BMW v12 LMR Race Car
6.Nissan R390 GT1 Race Car
7. Bentley Speed 8 Race Car
8.Pescarlo Courage C60
9.Toyota GT-ONE Race Car
10. BMW Mclaren F1 GTR Race Car
11.Dodge Viper GTS-R
12.Viper GTS-R
After being absolutely dumbfounded about the results. I notice that on the R10TDI he is indicate to pit on this lap, despite having brand new tyres and a full tank of gas. I watch him pit, assuming he will swap to inters or racing rain, but instead, he swaps straight back onto RM
! Surely enough I then notice nearly 3 quarters of the field all have there pit indicators on!
So basically what is happening. The driver pits and swaps drive. Filling the car up and swapping to a new set of racing mediums. He then proceeds to leave the pits, and when he gets roughly halfway down the back straight. The pit indicator turns on. The driver then pits and this cycle continues. Yet oddly enough my X2010 the Mclaren and the two vipers appear to be somehow unaffected.
My theory is that the drivers have been trapped in some kind of loop due to the weather conditions. The rain makes the driver want to swap out for rain tyres. Yet for some reason or another in the pits, this doesn't happen.
Has anyone else had this happen to them? Or have any theories or ideas of your own?
