24 hr Le Mans is also failing after being suspended

Was only an hour so not too bad. My my son popped round & wanted to go on the ps3 so i pitted & suspended. Anyway a couple of hrs later i figured i'd fire it up again, Loaded game & got the resume race box. All good so far. Then it goes to load the race & after the blue bar filled up all that i've got is a lovely picture of the dunlop tyre on my screen. Quit game & tried again. Same thing :(

Also worth noting is that when i quit the race the ps3 gives out 3 little beeps as it tries to re-start (god knows why) but doesn't actually do anything. Its just a black screen. Try to turn it of myself with the button on front but thats unresponsive so having to turn it off at the back. Great :(

No problem for me, I've done it three or four times already.
 
You gotta enter the pit at just the exact speed, angle, and position of the stars.
 
Hasn't happened to me yet. I make sure to slow down to 70-80 mph when I enter the pit lane.

Did you slow down?
 
Yeh i did it all properly. Did the 9hr tsukuba last night without any problems so i know its not me.

Just tried for a 3rd time & have got a bit further. The driver/ car list is up but its not loading anything. Just got the circle thing going round & round.

I'll take the disc out & give it a wipe just in case & try again

I have only the 24 hour races to complete all the A Spec races. I'm certainly not starting until they have this glitch fixed. I would really be PO'd if I got half way through and the race crashed...
 
Im doing this race 5hours in 30 minutes stints (and save) and havent encountered any problems yet... Ive saved 9 times allready
 
Look! Just do this:

Save as soon as you enter the pit lane and get the pop up, quit the game with the PS button and it will work!

When you start up the game, your driver will be calmly entering the pits where you left off!
 
Im 18 hours into a 24 hr and no problems yet. On a personal not DO NOT use a formula f1 on any of them
 
Have all of the problems been from people saving in pit lane? Can you stop on the back straight and resume there?
 
All of my saves have been in pit lane. I dont think you save anywhere else
 
It has been to easy the 2nd place car is like 30 laps behing me but yeah no head lights when its dark does make it interesting. Im on the Sarte track.

Whaaaat??? seriously??!?!?! Formula Cars have no headlights??? Nooo way! :sick: :crazy:
 
I wasnt thinking about it when I started but I was several hours into it and didnt feel like starting over.

Or else what? The console crashes? Because that's what's been happening here. It's a bug and needs to be noted and fixed.

Sorry guys! After racing for another hour today, I got the glitch! This is after 4 perfect saves!:ouch:

PD fix this problem ASAP, and stop wasting our time!:grumpy:
 
Man, with all the time they've had since they said that enduro saves would be coming...and they still couldn't get it right.
Back to the drawing board.

You tear up space time and bob downloads himself into your brain. Next thing you know you wake up in traffic court..
 
Well this is just peachy. I won't be doing the 24 hour races until they get the save fixed.
 
Wouldn't panic guys & let this put you off doing it. I took my disc out, gave it a wipe & it worked fine. Even though the disc looked clean im starting to think thats what the problem was
 
I am in the middle of it right now.
Two saves so far with no problem at all.
Has anyone else noticed after the save it resets the track.
All the cones that were knocked over are replaced and all my horrible skid marks:ouch: are gone as well!
I have also noticed two black lines racing down the armco barriers in the straights, very weird!

Yeh i've noticed that too. it even loads you up a shiny new car with no damage.
