$299 or $399

I'm not gonna get an Xbox 360. But I would like to know which Xbox 360 you are gonna get. Will it be the $399 package, with wireless controller and hard drive or the $299, with neither?

399 for sure.... the core package is a bad option... maybe when you can't afford the 399 xbox360 or don't want to go online...

I got the 399 one on reserve...well its paid for already. But I figure might as well go all out. I also got NFS:MW and PGR3 on reserve. But I bet you any money I'll go to pick it up at the store and turn around and sell it for way more then I paid for it.

After watching the IGN review, I decided to go with the Premium package.

I thought I would go with the core system and then buy the hd separately, but that was before I found out that it costs $100.00!! On a positive note, you pretty much get the headset, remote control, and HD cable for free when spending the extra $100.

You don't get ethernet with the Core option. That alone makes the system pretty much inferior to even the Xbox.

The whole point of the 360 and its biggest appeal with be the xbox live mainframe.

yup, something about the ati hardware needing special drivers to work with the nvida software. theres a thread in here with a list of games that will compatable right away with possiblity for further drivers for others down the road.

the xbox still has life in it yet. itd be nice if those games game with the neascary drivers for them to be playable right awya on the 360.

fwiw - im not quite sure driver is the correct term ...
