Like I said Nurburgring 24H, 90 miles (145 km), 6 laps, 1-1.5 hours in length. Could help series popularity.

brugab-
1. London - Speed - Europa cup
2. Daytona Road Course - Race - America cup
3. Fuji - Race - Asia cup
4. Laguna Seca - Race - America cup
5. Tsukuba - Speed - Asia cup
6. Monaco - Race - Europa cup
7. Suzuka - Race - Asia cup
8. Spa Francorchamps - Race - Europa cup
9. Indianapolis Oval - Race - america cup
10. Nurburgring Norschleife - Endurance

Good schedule. Rounds 1-9 could have a 15 minute sprint and then a 30-45 minute feature race. 👍 on the Continental Cups.

About the 2CV, some of us here don't have that car (including me) but it's moderately rare car, so I think in 2 months, chances are that a 2CV will show up sooner or later.

88 HP, can do over 100 mph if drafting (Daytona and Indy would be awesome in this series).

Everything seems complicated for me when you talk about series and championships, this car here, that car there and so on. K.I.S.S is the way to go! ;)

I don't have a 2CV either and probably wont be able to get one in time for the championship. Therefore I vote 500 and/or/not some other premium car.

You can win them in the A spec french series.

Also I am sure you can trade for one, most players don't care for them.

In A-spec Amateur "All France Championship" you can win a Citroen 2CV. And it shows up from time to time in the used dealership, not that rare if you looking to buy one.

As it is now the series have The Championship and three Cups in it... it just adds an extra interest so you can battle to win in different trophies.

I DEFINITELY like the idea of a oval race or two. There is way more strategy involved than most Europeans give it credit for. I also agree that Daytona would be a bad option, given that Indy and Motegi would be more suseptible to having set-ups come into play.

Just my 2 cents...:dopey:

upload to image shack and use the code supplied.

Thanks cox, only took me 4 hrs and countless attempts to get it right. Also on another note I've been running my 500 on comfort tyres and its absolutely quality. My be worth a shout to make it even more realistic.

Well said greest. I could not have said that better myself. I must say though that I do not think setups will be a big deal on Indy, but Motegi they will. Also, when can we expect to see some test races? Sunday perhaps?

Hmm OK test races, how about this Sunday same time as usual, we can just run on different tracks doing 5 or 6 laps on each as a test.

Well in Europe there were lots of ovals, most of them with big corner acentuations like 30º, till the 50's. That and tracks like Nurburgring Nordschelife... Spa was much bigger, still a beautiful track, but it was much, much bigger. Anyway I think we have a bit of everything and it looks interesting. And if we decide to keep this format in future series, some tracks can be changed by equivalent ones.

One key thing with the 2CV will be the transmission tuning... better have some test races or we think we are fast and then we get 5s behind each lap. Also apparently will need some work for each track. With the 500F one of the things will be to keep it stable because of the RR... a little beast that car!

Sounds good, I think I can make it. You thinking in free runs or little races just for fun coxbox?

yeah both cars are beats the 500f can be a handful on cambered corners, and yes the 2CV can be difficult to setup, i find you can either have more torque at top end or faster acceleration at the lower end.

I love both and would be quite happy to run just with the 2CV in the series. The difficulty in tuning makes it quite interesting for me. That and finding a way to keep the fast in exit of corners.👍

same here just did a 13 min lap round the nurburgring in the rain :)

About ABS... coxbox you still thinking to use no ABS? Tested a bit and it is very, very hard to not block the wheels when braking and honestly I don't have that kind of problems when driving a real car. Even a litle touch in the gamepad and they block, the only way is to hit it lightly several times. Maybe with pedals and all it goes right but with a game-pad is just a thing on itself apart of driving. Also I checked around and even in the all pro-series going on they always allow ABS set to 1.

Well, just to know before the testings start to know what to do about it because it needs a different approach if no ABS, or would be smoking my tires all along the track.

Cheers

Cox am I alright to run my fiat? And are we gonna be running on comfort tyres as it really makes for some interesting driving. You can probably see from the previous pictures what sort of outcome you get.

That makes sense everything off but abs which will be set to 1.

Yes but sports soft, and both the fiat and 2cv will be used.

Does anyone on here have a 2CV they want to trade, I.e a spare one. I have one already but want another one to try different setups then I can compare.
