who in here can 360 drift? or 720 or even 1080 drift? if you can do it.... you have great control with ur car!! i mean.... i practically perfected my 360 drifts and i get 720s every once in a while and i got a 1080 by accident one time!!! oh how i wish to show you the replay on that....but i can't
 
Well, I don't know if a 360 or any type of full rotation could be considered a drift. The essence of drifting is holding a car at a specific angle through a turn and trying NOT to over rotate. Spinning your car isn't really that difficult...If you want an environment granting more rotations hit SSR5 wet with simulations...You can spin your heart out.
 
when i mean 360 drift i meant right before the turn starts, you pull a 360 turn and then right when you finish the rotation, you start and finish drifting that turn
 
In response to your sig line, you need a Sharkport. There's a forum for those discussions too.

he had a zzii 360 on laguna seca..... damn nice.....
but it would kinda get pointless going further......
your just spinning in circles to slow down.....
 
i've done 360s on straights, but i'd think that would be near impossible entering a turn, much less going through it.
 
yah...dl that drift video on the videos page...that's what a 360 drift is....it's not as hard as you think....cuz doing that 360 already slows you down....and IF you do the 360 at the right place and speed, you should enter the turn at the perfect angle and speed for a pretty good drift...it's fun at grand valley, trial mountain....almost anywhere!!
 
oh yah and one more thing....has anyone ever tried drifting, or even 360 drifting at cote d'azur? HARD AS HELL, if someone can post a vid of that....i can call you good. HAHA
 
wish i had a camera to post it...but at Cote i got a pretty nasty series of drifts goin. after you go through the tunnel, then through that nasty, i mean NASTY turn, theres a sharp left. right after that right angle left hand turn i drifted through that quick chicane, and the left hander after it. It was cool as hell...did it in my ZZII. i think im gonna try to do it again at some point. i didnt bother save it becuase it was like lap 58 in that enduro race. no way i was watchin 58 laps just to get to that point:lol:
i think that first turn after the start line is pretty easy to drift through...also the turn that comes up at the top of the hill where the sun is blazin in your face
 
When i try and spin 360, i always end up spinning out of control. How can i spin 360 but control as well? How do i brake, steer etc?
plz help me out.

ok this is for a counter-clockwise 360. with my car i would start turning to the left a little and turn to the right a little. what that does is get ur car's weight ready to swing out. then after you swing the car to the right, you turn left and pull the hand brake at the same time. that should give you a quick rotation to the left. that is your option on how fast you want to spin ur car. hold the handbrake longer for a faster spin, use the reverse button for a lil slower spin.(that's how it is for me) once ur car has already made half of the 360, point ur wheels in the other direction and press reverse at the same time to get you in the desired driving direction.

i know that was sorta wierd reading that. but that's the closest i can get to explaining it.
 
hehe, i did a 720 on complex string where the hills are

then i was in the air and smashed into an invisible wall :lol:
 
Hmm, i've never tried doing a 360 spin through a corner...gotta have a go at this :)

yah..i got that video...but i know i can drift as good as that guy, gran dorifto. i mean. if you watch the vid, his best drifts are with an LM car, the subaru impreza. also with another very expensive car, speed 12. i do drifts with cheaper cars such as a civic, all the silvias, all the rx-7's, mostly mass produced cars yunno? i mean...i try to drift with cars that people actually have, telling them that if they have that car, then it's pretty much driftable. and i don't have anything against those guys, i just think im just as good and i wish i can make vids like that.
 
for example, try drifting with the silvia s13 2000cc model. with it's tuning to the max, that's a pretty hard car to drift, considering the incredible torque it has.
 
I got a 94 accord coupe. (i know its not in the game...im talkin real life)
I re-did the suspension and can definately drift in that car...though i havent tried it anywhere other than parking lots:lol:
no way in hell im risking gettin caught, or wreckin my ride. drifting in low powered, mass produced cars is definately fun. plan on gettin a WRX sometime soon..man it'll be fun to drift in there:D
 
yeah...i definately like the 2003 wrx. they have projectors for the 2002 model which improves the looks. BUT HAVE YOU SEEN THE NEW STI!!!!!!! they are bringin it here mid-year as a 2004 model car. limited to about 5000 being imported to the US. 300bhp, its bein made to compete with the evo VIII. check it out, its a beast
 
yah man...the 2k3 sti is pretty nice. reminds me of a skyline r34 sort of. but yes frustrated palm, there is an evo 8. it's almost identical to the 7 but with a different kit in front and altezza lights in the back.

mitsubishi is coming out with the EVO VIII so that it can be in the USA

it looks watered down compared to the EVO VII :(
