Considering all the names dropped in the article are from cars in GT6, They're probably just in the process of updating the old premium cars of GT6 to PS4 standards. Granted they still have the liscences for them anyways.

Maybe if they add all of these older Lambos, that could foreshadow other older cars (i.e. Supras, Skyline GT-Rs, RX-7s, NSXs)

Oh, I'd bet this is the list they're following, unfortunately.
You know, since PD are so fond of near duplicates, like they did with the new Clio, why not add this?

Lamborghini Reventon was also in GT6 so most likely I think that will come too.

Thanks for pointing that out. It is indeed mentioned in the IP notice but It's not in the list I copied from the GTP article. Fixed now.

It would be sad if they add all those cars left. Then it would mean they're catching up with the GT6 content and no new cars would be added till next issue of the game (GT7).
I have faith in that they will include lamborghinis and Ferraris new to the series in Gt Sport eventually. Also they have to add some Porsches and all of them would be new to the series.

Sometimes I do wish Ferrari and Lamborghini joined GT1 too bad their programs were shelved. I think it was the right choice because GT1 cars were now becoming full blown prototypes in disguise like the Porsche 911 GT1 which basically cheated technically and destroyed GT1. Well thanks Porsche.

The dup Clio is bad enough but this one tops it in my opinion. The Subaru BRZ.
At least in GT6 it had the nice factory rear wing on it.
But the new one just added to GTS is nothing more than a stright up copy of the Toyota 86GT with Subaru badging. Really really sad in my opinion.
I'm so happy about the Lamborghini Miura that was just added but the15mill cost hurts.
