My Concept design I'm working on. I just wanna give you guys a teaser ATM...

I looked at that so fast I thought it was the inside of the DeLorean from BTTF. What is it?

It is the unfinished inside of a simulator. If only it was a DeLorean that I was planning to build![/color]

Whoa -- lots of Saitek equipment there. I have something similar:

Yup, initially the sim will be based off Saitek equipment, and then (since it is a business thing but I cannot talk about it at the moment) as the money comes in I will be developing custom boards etc for additional functions (the switch panel would be the first to go xD)
On another note, I am so glad that it is recognisable! :P

So, like sort of a flight sim? I dunno, I'm just getting those kind of vibes from the instruments.

I'm not sure just what you're up to with the project, but I'd like to know more.

I'll reveal more in a couple of weeks ^^
It isn't anything amazing... xD

It's getting there... slowly. The shell is temporary, so that is my next task to sort out.

GPS Modelling done (TRC500), fitted on a redesigned panel. Still not redone the shell, but I did work on the rest of the "building" (roughly anyway)

Spent a while on this and I believe it's pretty much finished

That is beautiful! Can I ask the polycount?

Loving the work here, as always I am amazed!

@ECGadget is your project something for work or fun? My previous job was in aircraft simulator design!

Work, it is a project I am doing for my business and if it succeeds that shall be my career. I'd be interested in chatting with you more about the designs when they are ready!

The gravity simulation I'm working on is slowly progressing. A big problem was how to make a skybox that always stays behind the player-created celestial objects, without having to make the skybox so huge that it would be difficult to work with it.

But as you can see, I finally found a solution that works! The skybox is now in a different scene that is placed behind all the objects of the main scene :)

The big red circle is a player-created star and to the left of it there is a small planet in orbit around it.

Also, if you take a look at the top left corner you see the debug properties for the self-playing piano that I made, because space was too silent :P

Quite a detailed model then!

Some more of my work. This area is done I believe barring some small changes.

You could make a mini game with these assets, maybe a pre-rendered one where you need to find things. :)

Very little progress on the car, just messing around with interior lightning...View attachment 458893

Looks awesome. I need to learn how to render a vehicle like that. 👍

Awesome, I love playing games like these. :)

Oddly enough this project (dubbed Project Aironyx) is the first time I have done serious modelling. This may be interesting to some actually. Did a wireframe render

Thanks :dopey:. It's funny to me that it looks decent because it's just simple planes with a basic diffuse shader for the room and a few planes set to emission. Though I think a good car paint shader can make a lot of difference.

@OHM_fusion is that using Mental Ray?

Nope, I've only ever used Blender. It's Cycles
