Hi, just bought a 3D tv, how do I get it to work??

I just put glasses on . Just make sure u set your ps3 up to play in 3d when its available

obviously used glasses, how do I activate 3D mode on the game, cant find it in options. do I need to do that outside the game?

It's ok, thanks for reply guys, selected auto 3D mode outside the game. But tbh I'm not overly impressed with the 3D mode, to me the racer/car text stands out a bit but that's about it. I really hope bluray 3D movies look better.

Just a standard one from about 3 years ago, cost 15 euros.

Congratulations on your purchase of a 3DTV. Since I don't have one myself, I can only imagine what it would be like to play Gran Turismo 5 in 3D .

Mess with the settings. There are threads around for that.

You will need to change the settings in GT5's options menu for it to work properly, scroll to the right in the hardware section and select 'On' in the 3D settings. The TV should automatically change to 3D mode.

As jakhole said, you will want to play with the settings so it's most comfortable. I tend to use parallax:8 and convergence:0.75, but it varies by TV, eyewear and distance from screen

For 3D you need an HDMI 1.4 cable. Anything older does not support 3D. Don't have to spend a lot. Just make sure it is 1.4.
