Actually I was thinking of labeling each car as they pass by but that took like forever. I think I spent a half hour labeling and passed hardly one minute in the vid. So I gave up. :(
 
I don't know if I want to race on Rome rev., this track sticks a dagger in my gullet every time I set up for that evil notch and then it gets thrown away from contact. I hate this track so much going in the reverse direction I really don't care if I ever drive on it again. It was the downfall of my run at the academy and running it this week has brought back some of the stress I felt for the entire month of January.

I'm done w/ this track and will submit so that I can concentrate on the new combo. I’ll give it a try during practice but I can’t say that I will join in unless running w/ you all online gives it a different feel and I have a shot at some kind of a decent finish. Me getting blown away on this track or driving all by my self at the tail end isn’t what I call fun.

I feel somewhat the same as Lefty.
I'm not submitting a time in the WRS 'cause I'm way off pace.
I will join the races though, but I'll just start at the back. I wouldn't want to hamper anybody with a decent pace.
 
I'm way off on this combo as well.
Hopefully I'll get some decent laps in for WRS, but I'm not holding my breath.

The race itself should be a blast, as I imagine a lot of the drivers won't be lapping their WRS times consistently.
Could make for a large middle pack, and surely a lot of tight, bumpy racing đź‘Ť

Understeer is BAD :(
 
I'm not going to have time to submit to WRS myself this week. Had a "big" GT500 race this morning at La Sarthe that I really needed to prepare for so haven't really done any laps in WRS yet. Also the Patriots play in prime time tonight against the Jets so no way I'm missing that. Leaves maybe an hour to run laps, but from what I understand the kink takes lots of runs to get that lucky pass through... not really up for that. We'll see... if the Pats win I may get a surge of energy I'll need to apply somewhere. If they lose I'll be going to bed early to pout and sleep off the misery.

@Lefty.. please join the race just for the fun of it. I'll be racing with you at the back. I may just post my best time to this thread which you are invited to do also... or I may just start at the back and just have fun lapping with my friends. :sly:

Cheers, Great T1 for you and T2 now. I have give in with the combo now, no time left. Every time I got a low 22 in T1 the wall came a begging in T2 or I would flap at some point and break to early.

I had a go online with the combo and was running on average about .8 slower than the time Im submitting with.
 
This combo doesn't suit me either guys. Probably won't submit WRS time this week. Although the Ford is somewhat easier and faster to drive, no decision has been made yet if we can use it.

I know I signed up for the 3D3 race, but I'm changing my mind on this one.
Banging off the guard rails for an hour isn't my cup of tea.

I'm sure you guys will have a great race as usual, but I'm going to sit this one out.

I'm thinking that if no one who was racing got wrecked at the notch the track would be great and since it's a bottle neck, I would suggest that the tires go unrestricted and let everyone go custom on there traction balance. The car is a pushy thing and could use more front traction. Since I haven't been online yet w/ this hot rod I can only think that it will be even more pushy.
 
We're sticking with the Suzuki only, on R1's

The idea to use multiple cars needed much more time and experimentation than any of us had the past few days. Let's just keep it simple and short, with the race lasting about 45min, or 35 laps.

Going to change the event post now.

Laguna should be a fun one for this, and I'll be 2 days removed from a stint of nearly 2 hours at the real thing. :D

Good call on staying with the WRS combo as it is. I assume since we are using WRS positions, we'll also be using a grid formation lap. That's also a good call, as it will give everyone a chance to dial in their RA function settings.
 
The silence in the thread speaks volume about people's interest in this combo for an online race. I think the walls are scarey and I guess it's also a case of Spa hangover (at least for me). In any case I'll open my lounge at the usual time of 4:00 PM Pacific / 7:00 PM Eastern after the WRS submission deadline.

I haven't run more than a dozen laps for WRS this week and never even submitted a split so it should be interesting.

The race is going to be shorter this week (~45 min) plus with no qualifying we should also start early (by 5-10 past the hour). Anyone up for a little Kart Space shootout after the main event? Maybe a few mini 5 minute races with reverse grid based on previous results. That would equal 10 laps @ Kart Space II with Racing Kart 100s.

If anyone gets bored at practice today we could switch to the Kart and try them out.

Yes we'll have a formation lap this week. I'll be playing the role of pace car for the formation lap before dropping back to the back of the line since I didn't submit a time this week.

sorry tim and marc but I have a work conflict this week which won't allow me to make either of the races. was really wanting to run again this week. shouldn't have any problems for next week and I love the MRS and laguna haha, work won't get me next week.
