400PP Nordschleife Shootout

Well the first car I looked at would have had 406PP after it had its engine overhauled so...started testing my second choice only to find out it appears to have the acceleration of a turtle.:yuck: Problem seems to be that its to light to get enough power and to heavy to actually accelerate with the power it does have.:mad:

Im just making the first car selection checking the time till the second intermediary. My best is 1.32 till now. This first part of the circuit is enough to make a quick test. Too much cars if you make the whole lap....:crazy::crazy:

That's a good point. I didn't think about using just part for the selection process. Maybe I can toss in a few more cars now. :dopey:

Its a hybrid, not a full electric car! :p When the battery runs out it'll just drop a bit of power and start using the engine to recharge itself. :sly:

I've finally gotten my Insight broken in and built to 400PP. Not tested it on the Nurburgring yet, but already I can tell the testers are going to love this car. :D
 
I'll be updated the sign-up list shortly, can somebody tell me what the hell a carp and arapaima are? :dopey:

They're different species of fish. Since the whole "tuna = tuner" thing (which I am claiming ownership of - this is my bandwagon, boys, deal with it), people are just yelling out different species of fish instead of saying tuner. :lol:

The arapaima, pirarucu, or paiche (Arapaima gigas) is a South American tropical freshwater fish. It is a living fossil and one of the largest freshwater fishes in the world.

Fresh water fish, it is protected but natives have the right to fish and they feed a lot of people with one only. Huge fish.

Madame, tell me please if it is ok to use cars without oil change to stay under 400PP please.
I have 2 and 1 is in this case.

I pretty much figured, but if I'd assumed that, different fish from tuna would have meant testers. :crazy:

Tested a few so far and the ones I thought would be faster are...well, not. My two front runners so far are the ones that make look like this --> :crazy:
 
@CSLACR Oh boy now I've got to dump the car I was leaning towards and go hop in my initial choice...398PP no overhaul or oil change good power and great handling and best of all it wasn't built by Japanese cavemen.:lol:

Ok so i have 2 cars now and i have to choose , one is faster but more difficult to drive , the other is very easy but 3 sc slower. :nervous: they are around 8.22/25...

For the fish, i was born and grow up on the beach,and it is my job since a long time. So i know fish much more than cars for sure , principally salt water fish. I love this and i pretend to stay old living on the beach . This is the meaning of ``Praiano´´ or ``people who live on the beach´´.

Yep, standards for me so far as well. I've tried one premium and have one more on my list but out of more than a dozen on my short list it definitely seems like the standards will be out (in?) for this one.
 
Okay so I realize that the ole Wallbanger here is a lousy driver but when I manage a green lap of the ring in a car I feel good about and then look at the time it is a bit discouraging as I realize I'm a full minute behind praiano.:drool:

As much as I love the Ring I hate it for events like this since I have no way to tell how much is my horrible driving and how much is due to an uncompetitive car.:(
 
So as a tuner, I just have to put the car I wish to enter on share before February 11th? I'm interested..

I don't think I'm entering but the Swift or the Cappicino might be good premium cars. :dopey:

Those Japanese cavemen knew what they were doing, I got my best results so far from one of their cars.

The car in question drives great, especially considering its as old as I am. Unfortunately after running another one of my possibilities it showed that dinosaurs, regardless of how unique and cool they may be, are extinct for a reason.:lol:
