On your post about Damian earlier, you've got an electric QT, it's absolute mind blowing to think he gets the car round there a full 1.5 seconds quicker. absolutely out of this world!

If it's the only game you play and have high end equipment and loads of free time you could close in on that QT with hours and hours of practice. But everyone has a skill ceiling. I could never in a million years beat Dark Souls using just a Guitar Hero controller for example :lol: .
One thing I did notice is the top players in the lobby all seem to rent a car Vs using their own for some reason. My Honda is at 2500 miles now but I regularly do oil changes even if it's just placebo.

This is one of those rare daily weeks where I've barely touched any of the 3 races with either of my accounts. Am bad at Interlagos inn controller or wheel, Suzuka I try my best avoid due it's technical nature, more so to avoid in Gr.2 machinery.

That's why looking forward to next week now. Time to practice Sugo in online lobbies.

If you say so. How are you finding SUGO right now? I think it's okay, but a little tight.

I'm not sure even with unlimited free time I would get near to those aliens, I feel I could probably shave half a second off if i just did lap after lap every day and got some guidance but I don't think I'd get anywhere near breaking into the 44's, how those guys see the game and the lines must just be completely different, just like the way a pro footballer reads the game compare to Sunday league.

I am enjoying popping up in lobbies with the top guys, would be nice to find those extra few tenths and consistency to compete a bit more in those lobbies, that will be the goal for next year.

haha I saw one of the streamers beat Elden Ring on a dance mat a while back, madness

I think I'm under driving the car most of the time. Just trying to get used to the car feeling sketchy and fixing it with small inputs Vs purposely going a bit slower to keep it more stable. Exiting out of the hairpin just a fraction quicker can knock off a couple of tenths alone

I love the flow of the track. S2 & S3 are so much fun to drive through. I'm curious to see the track limits come Monday daily race because it's very easy to go wide over those nimble kerbs. I hope not too strict otherwise it will ruin the fun of racing at a new track.
 
Sugo is a great track that is let down by the sausage kerbs at the chicane. All you need there is sand, simple as that.

I've been away for near a month and it is too late in my week to jump on dailies so I hit the lobbies. There's still this super annoying lag in lobbies, which is pretty incredible given it is 2026, but I did find a great group of folks last night. This was a fun race, not a daily but I know folks here like good racing.

The Beetle is wicked fast in corners, especially fast corners, and is MUCH more useable since the update tightened up the rear end. However it's really tough to pass with it as it's just not got the HP.

Digit put out a good video on how he achieved a top 10 time:



His app looks good but I think the built in analyzer in the game should suffice for most people. I did use it a couple of times to figure out the best exit for the hairpin. It's quite a grind either way but I enjoy hotlapping for QT times and seeing where I can improve.
