I forgot all about the Kusabi haven't used that thing in ages. It's a fantastic little car, great for 450pp. And @DolHaus is right too, you'll be very hard pushed to beat an RX500 with anything, let alone another Mazda. It almost feels unfair winning races in that carYeah, the 'Concept' rx8's are juiced a bit more in gt6 as well as gt5.
Not sure how well it would be down-tuning it to 450 though.
Also, I have had the Kusabi beefed up to win the 650pp Willow springs event on SS tires. It was obviously well under 650pp, but its very quick and I got it to work enough to win anyway.
As far as, again, down-tuning to 450pp goes, No idea. But it is a very overlooked beast of agility.
Good Luck man ^^
Good choice 👍Rx500 it is then.
I believe the rim size was mandated to be standard size only in this FITT challenge.Just looking over the tune competition doesn't mention upgrading rim size. I do it on all my cars because they look better. But there is no mention of it ,I reckons it does affect the handling to a certain degree due the reduced tyre wall. Just guessing the handling would have to over compensate a harder ride.
Don't worry about it! We all like to help where we can. 👍Cheers tuner guys PS sorry in advance for newbie questions.
On the average circuit Like GVS, Suzuka, Nurb GP/F I would think so. On longer, faster tracks such as Monza, La Sarthe or Fuji, I'm not so sure but I wouldn't bet against itI notice the RX 550 is tuned to 550 pp .If I drop turbo upgrade and tune down to 450pp would it still better than rx8 ?

Grrr, phones!Adding inch up 1 to most of the tunes should not make too much of a difference. +2 may not really sure.
Good luck with that tune, if you put bigger rims on it, let us know if it changes the handling. I will let the tuner know if he has not seen this already.Rx8 with tuner 4 setup is as quick as my rx7 with the final drive dropped down 3:5 to give me a good straight line speed on Bathurst. It seems a bit more stable and forgiving compared to rx7. Of course tested offline ,racing on line will be slower of course. The brake sensitivity is set low on rx8 making it a bit skatey.Hopefully we don't race to many long tracks and I'll be reset the final drive to suit tracks . Thanks for doing the testing guys on 450pp .As like most people I tend to or our group does go for higher pp racing ,but using the lower pp it comes down to tuning and driving skills. Cheers
