Why are 4WD cars are so slow in GT6 compared to RWD. On straights, 4WDs has no pull against RWD within the same pp. I only find running 4WD cars useful in rain and snow. But in perfect road conditions its so slowww.

Maybe because they weigh a bit more than RWD cars? Keep in mind that a 4WD system is always heavier than a RWD system, but with a good setup they can be as fast as RWD cars. Or even faster, best example: Tommykaira ZZII '00. :)

Hope I could help you. 👍

What he said.

R32 skyline or the wrx sti nurb are the fastest followed by the evo 9 and 10, but I've tuned them for touge @500pp

Yep, I read somewhere that a 4WD system can be up to 50 kg in weight depending on the size of the car.
Maybe we should have a feature where it is possible to remove the 4WD system and make them RWD? More options for drifting that way. :)

Yes I would love that.

Can it be that the 4WD gives the car more pp. test it with the same amount of hp in a couple of cars and see if it gives the same result

Ruf CTR2 is a bullet even detuned to 500pp. Faster than the GT-R family and much faster than the Subaru, Mitsubishi types.

I love my Ruff's...The CTR2 is soo fast and a bit more controllable with the 4WD setup than the "Yellow Bird" Ruf, but still a handful to keep on the track. You almost have to detune it to keep the power on the tarmac.

The rear wheel "yellow bird" is even more difficult to drive, but also fast as grease lightning and rewarding as well to tame.
