Easy Gold (1:26.205) with the Opera Performance S2000 '04. I'm too lazy to fine tune the car, but it can easily go faster than my time.

Hey guys, I'm having the same problem with both of the time trials. I thought it was a viper thing and maybe my ps3.lol Thank goodness I haven't gone retarded.haha

Okay, enough with this, gearbox problem is there if you like it or not, buy new cars or backup your savegames until it is fixed ( i doubt it somehow)
Just did that lap with a Honda S2000 LM Racecar
@FranciRus did that lap with gamepad, so i had a challenge (when he uses wheel he's gone, i can't keep up;))
Did a 1:27.335 current online rank #391, but will change fast to low ranking.

Mazda furai makes it quite easy oO. Put max ballast weight in it and limit power until it reaches 500pp - weight 48:52 worked best for me. Lowered topspeed in gearbox settings to 220kph and voila into the 1:25's

I was wondering why my times on both the current TTs seem to be holding up quite well. As i generally only play around with top speed & final drive settings, i guess this transmission bug explains it.
 
the time limits on this are so easy it can be nearly done with everything. I did it easily with the BRZ GT300..

Non taken, but i don't know if i want to click the "like", i have mixed feelings.
But you now feel how i felt yesterday., so yesterday you would get a instant "like", but today i need my calm for the new events.

But i went to the GT forum at PSN, yesterday, and posted this bug and hope it gets attention to the source.
It currently has 133 views, but no reply, so i consider, that PSN and PD is not responding and i can't depend on them to fix it before the season events.
Hell, i don't even depend on them fixing it at all.
I'm affraid to use some nice tunes i got from GTplanet's tuning crew's.

So yes, i understand, but there's nothing you can do about it now, Just wait and try with something else to get the events.

Hey redsuns23.. I initially tried the BRZ GT300 too. It wont top the leaderboard but it is great fun to drive @ Laguna Seca. Out of curiosity, what was the best lap time you ran in it?

Thanks for not being offended ddd 👍 My complaint is not with you. I have done the events got Gold and reasonable times, but I am really disappointed with this "BUG" Why do PD have to mess it up everytime they update the game ?

I don't post to get " LIKES" anyway I post to voice my opinions, views ,congratulations,results and thanks , couldn't care less about the like button. Admin could scrap it for all I care about it :)

No that's not it why i mentioned the "like", i just didn't want to go back to my feelings yesterday.:indiff:
To clarify, i wanted to shut down the PS3 and put it back into a box, that's how i felt yesterday.:banghead:
I only use the PS3 for GT...Right, coffee now, and on to the normal car drift.:cool:

I hope that this week i see "update/hotfix" one day when i start up GT6.
I have my own database with 132 tunes collected from here and myself.
If this bug isn't fixed, i can't use about half of them, well i can use them, but the cars are slower.:crazy:

heyy, don't remember as I did it couple of hours ago, but it was 1:28ish, around 1:28,7 I think
 
It should be very easy with a properly tuned RE Amemiya Aspara Drink RX-7 as well since I already got silver with the bone stock one (albeit power limited just a little bit to lower to 500 pp).

My first choice was the Alfa Romeo GIULIA TZ2 in bone stock version but I barely got bronze with it, I don't think tuning it will give me another 6-8 seconds so bleh. :)
 
How are people using the ts030?? I can't get it down further than 507 pp :confused::confused:

Edit: oh I see.. VERY old oil :(
 
I have 1,366.1 miles on a TS030 that never got an oil change or body rigidity or any of that, and I'm at 507pp. How many miles are we talking about?

It took me a while to twig they were using some very secondhand TS030's, how did their lap look?

I managed a 22.7 in an Opera S2000, amazing grip - almost artificial.

Shooters lap is nowhere near 100% and he hasn't used AS yet so there's definitely more time to come from him.

Furai '08's are looking ominous too - nice to see a variety in the top 10 for now.

The one that was in about 8th was the worst top 10 lap I have ever seen.. :lol: That car could be p1 with no dramas.

Would you mind sharing the s2000 set up? Pm of you like
 
Quite liking this one. After a few laps I quickly reached a 1:23.457 (31st place). The Opera S2000 simply is the perfect car for this seasonal, the grip of this thing is phenomenal. But be beware of the second-to-last corner, if you get on the gravel on the outside of that turn, you'll get two penalties. Yes, two. At first you'll see the "normal" penalty pop up "Lap invalid" and right after this one, the next one pops up which says "Next lap invalid". Two penalties for going off the track once? Oh PD, you guys over there really have a truly awesome sense of logic. ;)
 
Aim for the red boxes.

Amuse S2000 is fast.
