Time to break out the '69 Vette :D

full
Im 'totally' jealous, I want one of those

Might have been about 10 minutes or so, just as you did. It hasn't happened again. Your hard drive seems to be acting up so a 4 hour re-install :ouch: might help. If not then try changing the hard drive.

You just might be at the wrong track. :P

Oops, before the paint job

I couldn't do better than a 1:42.4 in my '70 Nova, so I got out the GT40 and ran a 1:36.824 for a gold. I may try more laps later to see if I can shave it down a tad.

I already had the color as evidenced by 3 cars in my garage. :D

Easy gold for this seasonal in this iconic car. Just don't paint it matte pink once you win the paint chip with it otherwise @Bowtie-muscle will probably have to do something about that. :scared:

Thanks, @shaunm80 ! Got the gold with this tune!

FYI, I ended up at 553pp (531 BHP) so I set the power limiter to 97.9% to bring it to 550pp (519 BHP). I bought the car new, so perhaps I didn't need the oil change?

Thanks again!

Did this in a 78 firebird trans am. Absolutely smoked the gold time on the first try (after i dialed the cars suspension in.), Was a ton of fun.

Yes I do :) check out my garage.

Thanks for the tune, it certainly helped a bit. It's not as stable as what I was using, but it's a bit faster. I wish I could have had a better showing here, but this is the best I could do. I use the DS3/Auto by the way, and used TC 2.

This car is quite tough to handle around the mountain. Carrying too much speed into the corners will completely kill your lap, and the bumps don't help at all either. Managed a hard fought 1:30.390 good for 141st place at the moment. I'm calling it a day here.

It's sad how few tunes are posted now days, actually just how few people even bother to post at all. Oh well... Here's the tune I scrapped together. It's got to be better than nothing. And once again I'm shamelessly copying @shaunm80's template. :embarrassed: A few settings are the same as your AE tune, but I've had this one for some time now (before I tweaked it some more tonight) and don't remember if it's based on yours or not. Either way,.

Good tune just beat my old time, just hit the 1.31 Ish with this.

Thanks to share the tune. 0.9 improvement 1:29:898

I would suggest a wing and max rear downforce. It helps

Glad to know my tune was of use to some of you.

I'm on the fence about adding a wing,
I just don't want to ruin that classic shape. :indiff:

Here is the GT40 Anniversary Edition tune as mentioned above.

Ford GT40 Mark I 15th Anniversary Edition '66

Originally tuned on SS tyres but I am told in my garage that it works very well with SH tyres as well. This has been getting some pretty good times so far.

like this one

1'32"857 with it,maybe a little tweak can improve me

Faster and uglier or just fast and not too ugly, that is the dilemma ;)
What?!! I wouldn't call it a timeless beauty, but it looks quite good to my eyes. I'll take one in any color. I saw the new one at the NY Auto Show a couple months back and it took my breath away. It is the second most spectacular street legal car I've ever seen, surpassed only by the Porsche 918.

A rear wing from the GT6 auto shop would make 'even' a Porsche 918 look terrible, the GT40 looks fantastic as it comes and its fast. A rear wing would probably gain some lap time, but I'd not want to look at it.
They do say however that fast creates its own beauty

Thanks, magical tune. It's so much faster than Otaliema and Praiano tunes, those guys lose time because of huge 200kg ballast weight. Power down your tune works 500pp Midfield seasonal absolutely brilliant.
