We are now in MAY 2014, We were promised a day 1 update which would include content and features .. ??

pretty much 6 months has passed and frankly PD have done NONE of what they said they were going to do as far updating and releasing new content goes.

AND ALSO ... I paid for my anniversary edition... WTF .. where is my apex book ?????

PD and the GT franchise have become a bunch of money grabbing self indulgent glory hunters.

Gone are the days of making a decent game.

What about the DLC track every month.. or the added features you promised..

Whatever PD .. for me now your just as full of yourselves & full of BULL as all the other developers...

Whew, there's some misconceptions here.

So ...

We were promised a day 1 update which would include content and features .. ??

That arrived, on day 1. It was called "v1.01" and brought new content and features to the game that the guys who got the game early in the Middle East didn't have.

pretty much 6 months has passed and frankly PD have done NONE of what they said they were going to do as far updating and releasing new content goes.

They (which is SCE, not PD - PD don't communicate, they develop; SCE communicate, through local offices like SCEE, SCEA and SCEI) have eight items detailed on their site for "future updates". Three have arrived.

AND ALSO ... I paid for my anniversary edition... WTF .. where is my apex book ?????

Did you buy from Japan?

We ran a guide to the different versions on GTP two weeks before release. The Beyond the Apex booklet is only available to Japanese buyers.

PD don't get money directly from GT sales. They get paid by SCE to develop the game and SCE get the sales.

That's promised new content that SCE said was going to be released. What, so when they don't release stuff it's bad and when they do it's not the stuff you wanted and it's bad?

An SCEA representative made that claim, but it was never officially published.

Naughty of them, I know, but the developers can't be held accountable for uncorroborated claims from any employee that is not officially announced.
