6 STROKE engine

Meh, I've seen '30s Hit-and-miss engines with more strokes.
 
What's the point if you have to carry around massive quanties of distilled water, which is heavy and expensive? For a car to carry around an equal amount of water to its fuel, with the average gas tank about 18-20 gallons, thats 144-160 pounds of weight. Car radiators don't even come close to a quarter of that. Unless the extra power can maintain a better power/weight ratio with the extra weight (which would especially high for 18 wheelers, which would need hundreds of gallons to equal the fuel tanks), and unless its cheaper overall even with distilled water needed, there's no real point. Besides, a lot of the advantages he's claiming have yet to be proven.

Give me some real specs and hard data and I might be convinced.
 
Every adavantage he claims has yet to be proven. He just built the thing a year ago last February! This is not one of those goofy claims that are fake--this is the real deal. I think the best benefits that could come from this type of engine is in the emmissions department, because, as you and Crower said, the weight of water could and probably would cancel out the weight savings of all the cooling plumbing. I'm not saying it's a fake claim, just that until he can collect hard data from his engine, I'm going to be skeptical of some of his claims. I have no doubt its more efficient, but just how much more? The extra weight could cancel it out. We don't know yet, because its too new and untested.
 
I hope he can make a full size engine and test it soon. I'm interested as to how it'll run, even if it's worse. That'd just show how good our modern IC engines really are.
