It's funny, I couldn't get HansDampf's settings to work for me, seemed to have a lot of understeer in my hands. The settings that I have been using turn in nice and sharply, which means that I can get on the throttle sooner.
Yes i had the same thing, it's tune with active steering and it's why it made it much harder for me but i able to get a 1:56.33 with it and do see a 1:55 with it, i'll be back tomorrow :P

Thanks goodness it's not just me. I must admit I do feel a bit guilty when one of the really fast guys posts a tune, and then I criticise it! Proof yet again that we all have different driving styles, and some tunes just don't suit our style.

Yeah it's really surprising how it effects drivers, i can deal with the understeer because it suits me well but this one was bit different but still quick with it thank god, i can't drive FWD cars because of exit understeer, it don't suit me well as it really made me suffer final round of GT academy last year

No, 285 and ballast works well for me.

1:56,143 P2 :D

Nice time for sure in a car most of us likely hate.

My time (1:58.692) from Thursday was done with this tune I've modified from someone's (cargoratt???) over the last year or so.

95 65
5.88 14.66
5 5
5 8
7 7
0.0 0.0
-0.25 -0.10
5 5
15 40
5 15
30:70 split
BB 4 5
Rear Downforce 270
All weight reduction no ballast
High RPM Turbo

Maybe this will help someone...

Easy on the throttle mid-corner. Now I need to work on getting into the 57's.

I was using the Murcielago SV for a quick warm up and got a 1:58,988. Maybe a 57 is possible with lots of kilometers.
But i'll try some better cars now, Audi R8 4.2 and Nissan GT-R V-spec.
Hope one of these is competitive, because i don't like the ZZll. :yuck:

I used a Murcielago tune for Ascari Super Lap you posted some time ago. Very easy gold. :)

LeMans Quattro 2:02 with no tuning.
Sweet circuit 👍👍
Sweeter times from the sub 120 second brigade :bowdown:

Lord I hate these goddamn time trials with their narrow roads with grass and dirt and walls on both sides and as if to add insult to injury limited to slippery tyres. There, I've said it again.

Now I'm going to take a drink. A strong one. Might be a double.

Low 58s after a few go's and my mediocre set up abilities. Gonna give Rajman's set up a try and see what I can do. Love Panorama though. Fun little trial.

This tune works with a wheel too - immediately gave me 0.75 seconds off my previous best, now at 1.59.111, and aiming for the 1.58s!

I find the car better balanced without the rear wing for some reason.

Thanks for sharing GT_Rajman, a great tune.

Thanks for the tune. I hope we will on the podium together again in out country (the same like at Eiger) :)

dampers 1 10 10 1 works quite well with the wheel

I finally got gold on this one last night using a Lamborghini Reventon. I wanted to get it with something other than the obvious ringer ZZ II. I got so close soooooooo many times and just barely brushed a wall or blew it on the back straight spinning in circles at 205 mph.

new time 1.56.975 for 26

I have made some modifications to the steering wheel to me it has worked,

@GT_Rajman that is very generous of you! Improved my time from a cautious 1m59.703 to a more confident 1m58.074 after 10 laps. From 300+ in the world to 89th for now.

I'm using Engine Stage 3, Power Limiter 85.7% and shifting somewhere near 8,000 depending on corner. The different power means all my gears are +0.200 on top of your gears. So I use Final 2.500 instead of your 2.700 and it feels nice to me.

Does the ZZII brake better if you downshift very late? Is this just me? Maybe I was simply driving more patiently when I got better corner entry.

Looks like all the 'big name' players are throwing their hat into the ring for this seasonal. Will be great to see the lap times tumble.

In other news: Achieving a gold lap on this seasonal is now part of the Australian citizenship test.
