7 gears fantasy or fact??

Are there any cars in the game that have 7 gears (forward)?
When you change the gear ratios it shows up to 7th gear but I have yet to find a car that actually has 7 gears. Real formula 1 cars have 7 gears but my cars in the game only have 6. If that is the case why have the option to change all 7??? Anyone have any thoughts?

I was thinking the same thing the other day but i dont hav a car with 7 gears ethier
 
That has to do with the fact that due to legal reasons,a car was removed from the game that had seven forward gears,the much coveted Diablo I belive.....btw I think in GT1 or GT2 the KURE SUPRA had a seven speed gear box.Hope this helps some. :trouble:

this has probably been asked 10+ times on GTP!!!!!!!

The diablo JGTC has 7 (i think) but it was removed from the game.
 
Nope. It's been tested and driven - the Diablo has 6 gears.

If you want to have a 7 gear car (and really I don't know why) - use mk's and your X/Shark Port to change the reverse gear value to a negative of your desired value. Then hit Reverse when you want to hit 7th.

Makes braking through the gears a pisser though...
 
Still would be great havin that extra TALL gear, no ?
 
Well, it'd make it a crap race car - when you hit the brakes from "7th" gear, you'd be slipped into 1st - and would only be good for speed tests. But as a hybrid it wouldn't be accepted at most forums.

true but I doubt anyone cares if its accepted in any forum, their intent is to raise their top end, no ?
 
if there is no car that has 7 gears then why is it there
 
Maybe they had planned to have a car with 7 gears but in the end removed it, and forgot to put it in...or maybe it was just there for those gameshark users ;)
 
What is up with you and gamesharks/Xports? Why don't you like them? They help you get those hidden cars and can help make hybrids...did i mention those hidden cars that weren't included in the game?
 
where do u get xports/gamesharks/sharkports?

in new zealand im meaning.
 
From the local EB maybe, but there's none in Australia unfortunately...i'm not sure about NZ though. In Europe there are Xports though...

EB is Electronics Boutique...i'm sure there are some in NZ.

Miles are you dumb.....just goto chartwell ...but u wont be able to order them in cause i have tried.
