I think Chartwell is a place in New Zealand where there is probably a big electronics store.

Or as I said, for normal users of the game it's a fantasy. For those of us who can hybrid, it's a fact (although it doesn't show up as a 7th gear, it shows up as a reverse, but it has the effect of a taller extra forward gear
 
do so, 6 forward, one reverse, thats 7, but you cant count neutral

I thought one of the M-cars had seven gears ! I can't remember if it's the Altoworks or the Avanzato, and I'm not in front of my PS2 (of course, I'm in front of my PC) but I'll check this and let you know.

Moreover, this was the oldest thread in the list, I wanted to move it to the top :D
