80GB Discounted, New model 120-160GB coming up

There is no actual confirmation from Sony that is happening though. But it does seem logical when you think about it. I suspect today or sometime this week Sony will post it on their official blog.

I've been hoping for some sort of information, even rumor that discusses the DS3 finally being packaged instead of the passive unit. We will be in the market for another PS3 and I don't like how skimpy the 40GB is. Smaller hard drive is one thing, but no BC, 2 USB ports, and no card readers is dumb IMHO.

You can always buy a larger HDD for the 60GB and a DS3 separately. I'm curious how this will all pan out, and I hope they announce something soon. This past weekend we were POUNDED with Playstation 3 ads. Hopefully, that's a sign of something breaking out soon.
