Yet another fastest lap for Duval in Audi # 3 with 3:24.1

Ermm...lead switch, now the leader is #2 Audi with the birthday boy and Mr. Le Mans. And...Rebellion lost 4th place to the #3 Audi. That's about it I think.

WOW!!! Duval just shows how much potential those Audis have got!!! Imagine if the e-trons were in pedal-to-da-metal pace!!!

Can we leave the hellaflush trash out of the thread? That car has been extensively covered on the questionable modifications thread. Go post that there.

$4000 wheels and they duct tape the fenders. Classy

OK. Thanks 👍

Sounds like an issue with the throttle.

Edit: The customized car stuff doesn't belong in this thread. There is a thread in another sub-forum for that.

Stopped car at the end of the Mulsanne in the right side. Yellow flags are being displayed.

That's what the race director is saying.

What car is that stranded after mulsane corner?

eep. Stopped car at the straight.

Car stopped at the exit of Mulsanne Corner, not sure what car it is.

The battle between Audi #1 and #2 is going to be epic. Gonna be home to start watching again in about an hour, can't wait!

People seem to forget how badly each of the drivers in Audi want the win. The best fight is going to be the one amongst themselves, remember that! It could go down to the wire, Mr. Le Mans wants his 9th win, McNish wants 2, Dindo wants one more before he retires and it's his birthday! While Lott, Trulyer and Fassler are the young bucks who won it last year, are full of confidence, and have that fire in their stomachs man ahhhh!

It's a great team rivalry ala Senna Vs. Prost, but in endurance racing!

Nice to see car of fellow Finn Toni Vilander leading the pro class with 458.

LMP2 coupe stopped just passed Mulsanne.

You just need the clip number (press quote on my post to look):sly:

Tried looking but it only showed your written comment to quote, not the video information.

Yep, I think I get started on that energy drink now and save the ice cream for the last few hours.

If it's not an Audi, and it is an LMP it's by definition a Lola ;)

Hey! It can be a Pesca! Oh wait, they're all done...nevermind :(

Well, I'm off. 2:00 am here. I don't know if I'll be up to catch the race's finish, but I'll try. See you all people in a few hours.

That's why I love Audi. They are the most dedicated team in the last decade. Peugeot and Toyota can match their speed, but matching their pace in the pits is almost impossible. And that matters a lot in endurance racing.

Efficiency has truly been one of their key strengths. That they built the R8 like Lego (each key part of the car could be changed quickly and easily to save time during pitstops/repairs) is a good example of this.

Indeed their modular construction is a big help. They rebuild cars in no time. But it helps a lot too that they work in a very organized fashion, even though it looks like an anarquic swarm of mecanics over a broken car. Also, they're unbeatable at pit-stops. Remember last year when the leading Audi and the Peugeot that was very close to overtake it entered the pits at the same time and while the Peugeot had fuel only, the Audi had fuel and four tyres and still came out in the lead!
