Go Patrick Dempsey, would love to see them win Le Mans. I remember a few years ago when they had the break through podium at the 24 Hours of Daytona, team was very emotional.
They were leading all GT cars when Long came in. 👍

This may be Dempsey's shining moment if luck goes his way.

And Brendon Hartley's. Good luck to both.

:(

Well, cheers for the info guys. I'm sure the Toyota will reclaim their rightful place on the grid :mischievous:
Show that puny 4 cylinder car what a proper engine can do, Toyota.

Fun fact: I live about an hour away from Pratt & Miller- the shop that houses Corvette Racing. The C6Rs were down on speed last year, but it looks like the 7s got it back.
Fun fact, you and I must live relatively close to each other, lol

Don't make fun of 4 cylinder race cars.

As I recall the original Toyota 88C was 4 cylinders.

For those wondering, the Le Mans App lets you watch their live stream, another stream using cameras in the crowd only, and onboards from both Audis, both Toyotas, both Porsches, one of the Vettes, the Oak Racing LMP2, and both Manthey 911s. All onboards are free.

Inline 4, yes. 👍

Well, I live about 30-40 miles north of the Michigan/Ohio border. Anyway, that 919 was a clear example of the power difference between the Prototypes and the GT cars.

I'm not. They're impressive in their own right. I just prefere V8's and up :D

Watching in the Le Mans website right now, they're having problems with the delayed audio.

I love how the 2 litre V4 in the 919 on it's own produces over 500hp!

Rob Huff being interviewed on Radio Le Mans right now. :)

Awesome stuff mate, I fell aslp since the latter part of the SC period and startled to find the Porsche in front. Thanks for filling up the gap in my memory.

Cheers. That's the reason I do it, because I know some people have other things to do, so they can check my page to know what's been happening.

And another 45 minutes of news on the Danish Le Mans broadcast..... FML.

I'm shocked by how fast Porsche is running on their "first" outing. They're already battling it out with Toyota and stomping over Audi. Great team work there!

The beautiful sunset, that's the magic of Le Mans!

Sunset in roughly just over 2 hours if I'm correct?

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiizzle!!!

Tommy Milner in the #74 'Vette just increased the gap to the 2nd placed Porsche by around 7 secs! :o

A birthday party in a Porsche garage! Those zany germans, gotta love them!
