GT3's are different to GTE cars.

EDIT: Tree'd. I mean c'mon.

I'm trying to figure out how getting "screwed over" at Sebring in a completely different series somehow ran SRT out of budget and made them pull out of Le Mans... There were many more factors.

Exactly. No Santioning body has that amount of power.

I'd much rather keep GTE than have a GT3 merger. The ELMS system doesn't work for me.

there are obviously more variables, sponsors etc, but not getting the expected pay check cant have helped

Because they're GT3 cars not GTE, with the next GT regs they might be merged together.

Last I checked, those plans have been call off.

That's too bad. The Mulsanne straight needs to hear the roar of an eight and something liters V10!

Only 8 laps for that #20 stint

Wuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut?

To be fair, GT3 is just everywhere these days. But the GT2 style specs in GTE don't interest me either.

Like I said. Bring back the '94-'98 spec GT1 style as a class. Homologations up the wazoo.

There is audis in ELMS or is that in a lower class
ELMS runs the merger, as stated before. They have a weird GT3/GTE mix.

Random question: How many pages a Le Mans thread reaches usually?

Before i search this thread another 20 minutes. Can somebody give me a short info to what happened to the ZEOD?

But they never use them. The concept of using indicators to facilitate traffic overtaking is cool.
I have seen it happen before to indicate moving off line.

DAT CAR.

Ooh, it's one of the most crowded threads on GTP! I guess it can reach over 500 pages.

there needs to be more manufacturers in P1 and GTE pro, P2 seems to be doing quite fine, but GTE AM probably should be GT3 cars, something more user friendly

GT3 is a totally different reg set. ELMS has GT3 has an extra class for boosting entries.

Puffffff...we still got maaaaaaaaaaany maaaaaaaaaaaaany more to go. Only the posts for the race end take around 4 pages!

About 24 minutes into the race, it just started slowing down in the middle of the track all of a sudden. They pull the car over and find out it's a gearbox problem.
