Not gonna lie, I'm getting the itch to do some Le Mans racing in Gran Turismo, haven't done it much since GT6... I feel like I can tame the torque of the R10.

I've felt that itch before. Then the AI and the stupid format of racing in GT5 and GT6 ruined it for me 👎.
Yeah, and then everyone online wants to run LMP's at a pp way quicker than the real world speed. I just want good class racing, timed events, and a good pp!

Over on GTR2, someone's already got the big three LMP1s of this year (yes, the Audi, Toyota and Porsche) done :D

Plus, the AI over there are much better in terms of racing ability plus the handling of a multi-class grid. GTR 2 is lacking in a full grid of Le Mans though, as I am only able to find grids from both 1998 and 2009.

Did anyone hear that Ferrari V8 idling in the pit???:drool::drool: That lovely, beastly burble!

#60 car out, up to 10 retirements.

Meanwhile the #62's best lap has improved to a 4:07. But still quite a bit off the pace.

EDIT: Whoops double post.

Betty Boost. Dear god that's poor.
Boost-boost-de-doost. :dopey:

#46 gets a 35 second penalty for speeding in the pit lane

(Chanting) SENNA SENNA SENNA SENNA SENNA SENNA

He's going out!

That ZEOD was so awful, because there was nobody they had to beat. That should have been pretty low cost and easy marketing. That's whole program has been sad today from day one. Just wasting time on easy Nissan publishing for Garage 56 again instead of diving into a program. I would have rather seen the Nissan LMP for this year.

#91 is back in again. Already lost 35mins in the pits with fuel cell issue whilst changing the brakes.

I suppose it was built for pure experiment, which failed.

The thing with the ZEOD is that they're still running the "Nissan, electrifying Le Mans with the ZEOD RC!" commercials...

#46 receives a 35 secs stop & go penalty for pitlane speeding. Thiriet LMP2.

Are there any websites that show the standings in each separate category ?

And Don Panoz is still chasing a lawsuit against Nissan and Ben Bowlby for "stealing" the DeltaWing design!

All worth it for 24 minutes of racing

Why waste all the publicity on a test though? And on a car designed completely different from their LMP?

It was an experiment. No experiment is worthless, even a failed one as it gives us a little more knowledge, and that's what humanity likes. Knowledge.

Because that's the point of garage 56. They wanted to make history, and that'd get you a lot more media coverage than just turning up in LMP1.

They were addressing electric car problems, that's the point. They did do a lap only on electric power so that's progress.
