I'm baffled by the fact that the Nissan's pace is on LMP2 level, I really expected it to be better/faster. But that GTE battle is awesome, racing at it's finest!
 
Porsche not having the best of races... that three cars now with what looks to be similar problems?

They are without the hybrid power, so it's expected that they'd be slower.

Ah okay, that explains a lot. How much power are they running then? Around 500hp?
 
Yeah strictly just the Engine. Did NISMO have to remove the HY stickers or they just didn't have time to do it?
 
Yeah 550 HP or so.
 
Ack I was hoping for the yellow flag to last another 5 hours or so because that's the time I more or less estimate I'm gonna be out. See ya later chaps, I hope for several delays and stuff so I don't miss that much action.
 
Well, at least the Nismo drivers get their arm muscles thoroughly worked out during the race.

I think its starting to get darker little by little on the track. The headlights seem to shine a bit brighter.

I really hope the Vipers would make their return to the GTE-PRO class, we would see even more american muscle on the track.

The quotes I've seen show as low as 450. Certainly no more than any P2.
 
Does anyone have info on how data telemetry and radio coms reach the drivers miles from pit lane? Many data repeaters?

Maybe it's the way the camera picks up the LED lights?

It's the refresh rate of the lights not matching the refresh rate of the cameras.
