Jani gives the #18 car a sense of Deja vu.

Toyota have been made to look like newcomers. This would be no big deal if they were newcomers, but they aren't, and when they were, they were challenging Audi for the lead before their cars were torn apart.

Also, carbon copy of the earlier Mulsanne crash for 18.

Toyota putting up even less of a fight than I would have hoped. Hopefully the TS050 will be a completely different animal.
With me behind the wheel of the TS050, should Wurz retire, it will be a different story for us...

The #18 Porsche really must hate the tire barriers in that corner.

Same as last time, I wonder if the ERS harvesting is causing brake locking there?

#18 Porsche in the gravel at Mulsanne, looks like something wrong with the brakes

#18 really hates Mulsanne Corner.

I think when I crash at that corner I fly up higher in GT6. lol

And for the first time all race, there are no GT-R LM's on track at the moment. :indiff:

Well done for turning what I said into something it isn't. Just because you have an opinion doesn't give it validity. You and a few others are determined to see it fail, no matter what facts you're presented with. That isn't being a motorsport fan. That's just pure arrogance.

Wrong on quite a few levels. When I first say the Nissan, I thought it looked awesome. The concept was fresh, and I was happy to have another large manufaturer in the big game. I never said anything negative about the Nissan LMP1 until they showed up at Le Mans with a car running at LMP2 pace. I dcouldn't care less about what excuses they have. You don't go to a race track as a large manufacturer, until your car is at least somewhat close to the other cars in the class you're competing in. Espicially not in the highest tier of motorsport.

It's about upholding a certain standard. And a massive company such as Nissan, with plenty of racing experience, has very little excuse to show up this unprepared. The excuse that they're using Le Mans as testing would hold water if not for the fact that both Toyota and Porsche, to mention the most recent inclusions in LMP1, both arrived prepared.

Not respecting the legitimazy of other opinions solely because they conflict with your own view on things. Now that is the essence of arrogance. Your tweet certainly embodies the spirit of a narrow minded train of thought. Stricking down any critisism as petty dislike of a company.

Funny considering the narrow-minded idiocy I have seen around some parts with people putting Nissan down at every chance for no reason.

While I haven't read every single post in here, who has done this? I've talked negative about the Nissan in what? 3-4 posts? And even if someone was being very vocal about their dislike for the Nissan LMP, as long as they allow for and respect other opinions, they can hardly be accused of being narrow minded? Unless of course they had spent the last 10 plus hours frequently posting about their dislike of that specific car.

That is what I thought originally when the first incident happened. It seems to be the most logical reason given the facts we have at the moment. But it could be anything else too...

Well, the ERS was sounding weird in the replay, like a stuttering. Could be, that the brakes just didn't grab properly though.

Porsche off same as earlier.
#18 on gravel at Mulsanne corner, again.

This isn't just a tree, this what we call a giant Sequioa.

Check out this picture I found of our tree.

I remember the Porsche's and Audi's doing weird things at Spa when they braked hard, the engines were totally cutting out then so this may be a related problem, it's just strange it's only happened to the #18 and it's happened twice.

Am I the only one who can't stomach Nissan's decision to test during the race? They're Nissan, not some dedicated microscopic firm. I get it, theirs is a ground-breaking design that requires a lot of testing and tinkering around to work, but I am still thorougly disappointed by their (lack of) pace. I wasn't ready to ditch Audi for Nissan, but I wouldn't have minded such a novel car racing with goals a bit more lofty than "finishing and collecting data".

It's like waiting and waiting and waiting for a game to come out and then finding out it's a glitchy, broken mess of a beta.

Same as last time, I wonder if the ERS harvesting is causing brake locking there?

Could be. Although Dumas was having problems getting the brakes in temp before the first flight in the gravel, so it may just be a problem with the brakes.

Also, how long before the #18 car mechanics will set up a tent at Mulsanne?

I'm so pissed that I was so teased by Nissan's hype machine for so long. What a pathetic team. How can you go to Le Mans without a functional hybrid system?

I should have known not to trust a company whose tagline was "SHIFT_" when they put CVTs in all of their cars.

Where are you guys watching? fox sports stream is down.

"Shift" never stood for something good.

Well they don't use that tag line anymore, so you might get with the current program. ;)
