I knew this would happen when they needed to swap engines already during qualifying.
The LMP cars seem woefully unreliable this year.

At this rate an LMP2 car will be on the podium in the morning.

Porsche's race to lose now as the #9 hasn't been competitive at all.
 
Is it just me or is the Toyota wandering on the track and driving in a full lane...?

Why does this have to happen?! Darn-it, what is it with Toyota's look, I'm absolutely crestfallen for them. :(
 
Kamui giving it revs wouldn't suggest its stuck on the pit limiter, or is it?
 
If I heard right, #2 drive through penalty for releasing safety harness to early.

Ironically, Rebellion in the year the year they switched to LMP2 has their best shot. What I'm wondering is that if the the #2 has no problems for the duration, will it catch the LMP2 leader?
 
Does the Toyota have enough battery to get back around to the pits? It won't have been harvesting much behind the safety car.

Of course this is all Ford and Oli Pla's fault.
 
This thing really cant happen... I can see the announcement from Toyota about leaving WEC this year :/

Nature of modern LM. 24H of Q laps required nowadays in Endurance.
 
#2 Porsche has now caught back up to the LMP2 field and is about to climb back into the top 20, and it looks like the #8 Toyota is back on the circuit, nearly last - we'll see how much they can recover from here.
 
It sounds like it's only running on electric right now.
 
Apparently something with the clutch on the #7, which now stopped completely on track.
Edit: Nvm, still crawling forwards.
