I think it's still stopped on track and they're sending out help, at least according to their Twitter. Seems like a mechanical issue.

Depends on how you define 'ridiculous'. Frankly I think this isn't nearly as 'ridiculous' as LMP2 leading an actual couple of hours last year, but what do I know. It's last year's race that got us here. LMP1 got too good for its own good.

Glad to hear #7 Toyota is fine, just forgot to fuel. Only an hour to go we can only hope the best for whole drivers and teams racing in Le Mans right now :cheers:

Engine gone.
 
Earlier they repaired the #11 for over 2 hours, now they are really out.. Gutted for them and Benson Jutton.

Exactly. Until Pescarolo at least thought about troubling them, this was the norm when they first got good.

Peugeot also got the prettier car too at that time in my opinion, the 908. Wonder if Peugeot would return to Le Mans and WEC though...

Us Dutchies truly have it good. Apart from a quick shot in split screen of the commentators every few hours we never see them. And they always have 1 (ex) racer as commentator.

One can hope, but rumors of a Peugeot comeback has been regurgitated pretty much since they left...

true...they held the LMP1 runner up position for several hours.
 
Watching the events unfold with the #7, I imagine all of Toyota was having kittens.

Thats 5 of 10 LMP1 out.. 5th in LMP1 is one of the Manor Ginettas, still running. :lol:

Maybe with the new rules, they could entertain the idea of coming back. They did have a car made up for the following season, until they pulled the plug. Which from what i remember, kinda forced Toyota to start a year earlier.

Edit: 10 second stop and go penalty for #7 Toyota for exceeding fuel limits
