What shall we do about tyre wear?

Knelly- It seems the general consensus that the alfa/calibra are not that strong at SSR5 but will do a lot better at Trial mountain.

Yes. But I am not being funny like but is there actually people who are said "sheep shaggers" because I just cannot see that being true. I mean I have only spent a short time in Wales so you will know more than me. Are there actually people who you think "dirty so and so they might have their sheep's innocence" :lol: It just seems such a random insult. And I do apologise Bret if I caused any offence :)

In the BMW yeah, but that is no longer racing, i have set a 1.24.5 with the alfa, and that was with one minor tweak to the ride height. I seem to be able to go faster with no or very minimal tuning than setting the car up properly.
 
I did 1:25´s with Team-Benz´s SSR5 Set-up.
But I´ll test some more to get in the high 1:24´s. (Maybe I have to tweak the Tranny a bit)
 
Sakery, try that damper setup that no one ever uses, and change the toe to what I usually have it at :) that seemed to make me go faster
 
Hey guys, remember as you obtain the other cars to let me know. Please check the driver status list at the bottom of the OP and let me know if your cars are not listed. Ideally we want 'all cars' next to everyones name to give us better choices when promotion time comes.
 
Reading up on this "bug" it really does explain alot about GT5 online physics...................Garbage!:yuck:
 
Johnboy- The bug sucks for all the series on here. One important point is to draw the line between when it is happening and when people are using it as an excuse. It has happened 3 times for us in the FGTC and every time there were noticeable symptoms to back up the slow/fast lap time thing. Some posters in various other threads are like "oohh so thats why I came last the other night". Dont let it make you paranoid :lol:
We should be safe as we are driving cars with relativley slow speed (frame rate) and we are limited to 12 per room maybe less with a no show or two.

Yeah i got you bro, probably an idea to stop reading the thread:yuck: and yeah the 12 cars per room is a help so much so thinking on pinching the idea.:guilty:

We hope the patch at the end of the month performs miracles, looking at your idea of 2 divisions. Knocking the series on the head will be a last resort dont really want to give up but i know alot of guys are looking at this iracing gig amongst other things, so will be a long 2 or 3 weeks waiting for the update.:nervous:
 
End of this month apparently, I am hoping for miracles but I am not convinced PD even knows :(
If its not fixed I will be looking at 2 divisions or just letting some drivers form their own. Shame man because the FGTC grew really fast and remains popular despite having 18 week seasons. I am confident the touring cars will work though, the only worry is Zenzows connection.
 
The Alfa at SSR5 is horrible. I got the worst understeer I have ever had. So I set the car up for maximum oversteer, all the power to the back, suspension set up with the front end hard and the back end soft etc.
Everything was set up to create oversteer....yet I went on track and the car still wouldn't turn in.
