What shall we do about tyre wear?

Yes thats the right M3, it has been limited to 384BHP, 20 less than the others because it was too quick. Its now just about right 👍

I think the only difference is that the normal calibra touring car is 20kg heavier than the super calibra touring car. As standard it also comes with more horsepower i think, but as its capped in this series it doesnt matter :)

Maybe the opel is slower then the vauxhall. The M3 feels a bit quicker then the opel!

Hancock- You got the right car bro. Ill put you down for the BMW team 👍
As pagey says, the opel is slightly slower but you are talking hundreths of a second at this power.
 
The Callies drive different.
I tested all 4 oldschool cars (VX, Opel, Alfa and Benz) and posted my findings in the interest-Thread.

VX Cally: 1060kg and has the highest base HP/kW
Opel and Alfa: almost the same power output but the Alfa weighs 1010kg (50/50) and the Opel 1040kg (52/48).
Benz: 980kg and the lowest base power (295kW with oil-change and almost fully run in. 301kW is the limit in this Series). Plus the 55/45 Weight Balance and RWD makes it not so easy to drive.

But I could run almost the same times with them. Difference was 0.3 seconds
=> better setup better times.

The only thing I have to practice is the Start.
The AWD´s can "Monster-Mash" the Throttle which I can´t. I loose 1-2 positions at the Start
=> I´m a bit unsatisfied with my starts during the Test-races we had (all test races not only yesterday)

Any chance of governing the Astra if its too fast....like the BM

Sakery- We need a good start to get away from you :D the merc is fast on the straights, I got a set up for the calibra now so I am a couple of positions better than I was previously and with some practice I should start getting close to the podium at the end of S1.

Driver- I guess we could try it but it would start getting complicated with the teams (and it is so easy to drive). I allowed the BM because 3 of the drivers wanted to race but didnt have the right cars.
 
I have done some testing for the Astra (I was bored :D)
I think I've found a good compromise, I set the power to 374bhp and I added 50kg.
At autumn ring it set exactly the same time as the Alfa, 1.15.9, with the BMW and the Cally 5 tenths off.
At trial mountain the Alfa set a 1.24.4, the Astra was a tenth off. The BMW set a 1.24.3. And the Cally a 1.24.9 :) hope this can help
 
So they are really close then. From the point of view of setting the room up ill stick to the 4 we have though. I dont want to be tangling with the weight and the power settings. 👍
 
Yeah I knew you probably wouldn't use it but I like driving those cars and its fun doing some testing :)

Yeah I've been doing pretty well in the practice races :) if I don't manage to get the merc do you have an idea of what car I would be put in? More UCD grinding for me today

I've never tried it myself, but all the details on how to are on this site. If you want to try I've all the cars. Basically its just saving the game while your using the car you want to keep.............but do a search for all the details
 
ALLRIGHT LADS! How was your xmas? Mine was sickerning! Just found out the M3 is in, sweet more cars makes a better race! Whens the next practice sesh for FGTC &DTM?
 
I had some good fun last night. Really enjoy driving these cars. The races will be fun :)

BTW - If you need me to host one of the championships, I am used to doing it so it wont be a problem.

Etid- Alright, practicing tomorrow evening mate for both. DTM then FGT probably be about 830 for me 👍

Wordup- Nice one, I was going to ask you anyway, I have put you in Div 1 because no one else offered :D Just make sure you dont get demoted. Ill put on the OP for everyone to add you. Division quali finsishes tomorrow night and ill fill the rosters in then. Until then tomorrows session will give anyone else joining the chance to qualify 👍

Yea, the cool thing about doing two races per night is we can cover a lot of different tracks in one season :D If I have missed any good road tracks out be sure to let me know. I hope we dont get any probs with spa but people are to drop 2 results at the end of the season anyway. team.

I need to decide what to do for the BMW. So far I got 2 on BM and a couple of spaces to fill. One option is to allow people to use the beemer until they get a car and join a team. Thoughts?

Guys I dont mean to stuff you all around, but I am thinking that this may be too late for me.

****....I am thick, just realized that I am 2hrs ahead of you, that mean a weekly race will finish past midnight for me, gotta work at 6am......bugger
