How old are these cars? They all look so unstable. It's a fun race to watch, although, I have no idea what's going on.
 
The 50's and 60's, when racing drivers really earned their money.

D-type drifting? Hummm ... I'm unable to watch this now but I read somewhere that Chris Harris would be entering this race in a D-type, so it might be him. I sure hope for a fantastic future episode of CHRIS HARRIS ON CARS on Youtube. Love them all, he's a very funny guy that knows a thing or two about cars and about driving them.

+ Probably rain for the main event! More chance that the audi boys don't take the win once again. I find it a bit dull that they have won almost each year till now so i'm rooting for a Toyota win just to break the German hegemony 👍
 
Audi have an advantage in the wet though as thier hybrid system powers the front making it 4wd meaning it can put more power down out of the corners.

Toyota's powers the rear wheels which means more chance they will have to feather it meaning they can't put all the power down.
 
I really hope Toyota have been sandbagging all week, they went quickest in morning warm up and could have an extra 2 laps per stint, we might have a race on!

That won't be much of a difference since they can't use hybrid power under 120kph IIRC.
 
Haven't been able to visit GTP much in these recent months... Glad I could at least make it to the Le Mans '13 thread :D

Stoked for the race, although I don't expect any big surprises as to who's going to win.

Nope, it pulled out a week ago, the place has been filled by the #75 Prospeed 911 in the GTe-AM category.

We have an all Electric powered Deltawing coupe for next year.

In this mornings warm-up session and Legends race the entire track looked greasy along with the predicted rain I'm guessing we'll only have 20 cars left at the finish.

I'm not sure if they've resurfaced parts of the track but I can't ever remember seeing so many stoppages, we've had a red flag in every single session.
 
Is it less than an hour from now or 2?
