Right, I need to walk to the shop to get more beer, and some snackage...

That alcohol I reported on earlier in the thread... I was right, it wasn't enough!

Bad idea unless you want to sleep. Alcohol and 24 hour racing are not compatible.

As for me. I had to leave the house earlier when my carbon monoxide detector went off. Luckily I thought to take my laptop with me so I could still watch the race.

Now I'm back after the gas people sorted it out, but there is no way on this earth that I sleep tonight.

Don't count out the #3 Audi either. It's still in 4th and right behind both the Toyota.

Beautiful weather at Le Mans this year, eh? All joking aside, my thoughts and prayers go out in loving memory of Allan Simonsen. Absolutely terrible news to hear of his passing in that crash.

Rain is the great equalizer. And I'm sure if you want to win Le Mans, you got to survive both the 8.5-mile course and Mother Nature. Have at it. Good luck. I still think Audi is their own competition unless the Audis drop like flies around a bug light.

Will be interesting to see if Toyota can make the race without bad luck as well.

I already betrayed myself sleeping an hour or so, but I'll make sure I'm full of caffeine so I don't close my eyes again!

Gene losing ground again?

I would really like to see some GT coverage sprinkled in here...

It must be absolutely terrifying to do this race at night. Just look at that.

It must be so fun, too. Such a thing only a select few will ever experience.

Audi probably going for P1 and P2, Toyota will have to settle for the last podium position if neither of them experience any more problems.

Ha, I know what you are saying, but I've got no intention of staying up for the whole thing... I'm 50/50 on making the 200 mile trip to Croft tomorrow.

For a guy with a couple of TS030s in his avatar, you give up too easily . So far Toyota has demonstrated they have an advantage, fuel economy, and Audi is not-so-bulletproof now. 16 hours to go is a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time.

On a side note, I am hoping to see all of these LMP cars in GT6. I think barring any issues the #3 Audi can still take P2

Why do the gt3 cars have yellow lights

I don't give up, I'm just being realistic. Toyota's never going to win if they merely hope for Audi to break down. The most strict scenario is always going from pace and no breakdowns. And at this rate Audi will have P1 and P2.

Their pit strategy is still proving that the Audi speed advantage is still more of an advantage than the fuel economy of the Toyota.

What happened? Eurosport is doing commercials again..:indiff:
