I'm slightly torn regarding an Aston victory due to the whole discussion about the Balance of Performance. I insist though that it would be a nice thing if they won in the name of # 95.

Me too. They'll still have to fight Porsche, but they've had several main rivals in Corvette and Ferrari knobbled by this ridiculous BOP claptrap.

But yes, a victory for Simonsen would be a very popular one indeed. Go Aston!

Morning guys! I'm still awake. Currently sitting on the run down to the Ford chicanes. Race has been great so far. So, so gutted to hear about Simonsens death though. Ruined my weekend really :/ got some great photos so far too. Hope you're all enjoying the race on the Tele!

Google "Leena Gade". You'll find a pleasant surprise.

I'm kinda worried about the repeated reports of strange vibrations on the R18s. Hopefully it's just tyre buildup as someone here said before and nothing that'll break their race.
 
Last couple of stints TC has complained of a strange vibration.

It happened last year, tyre debris was building up on the rear suspension and wrecking the handling, a quick fix if that is the problem.
 
I hope Strakka beats one of the Rebellions at the end of this race.

The commentators on Eurosports, were just talking about the Toyota airboxes a few minutes ago.. one of them were convinced they're the same size.

Here's a pic i took on TV earlier on today, the one on the car behind is almost nearly twice the size as the one in front.
