Okay, just got up, I see Audi is first and the other 2 Toyota's are in 2nd & Third place. What happened to the #1 Audi R18?

#1 had a gearbox problem.
 
That looked nasty. The entire car is in pieces. Hopefully the driver is okay.

EDIT - The driver's fine, he's out of the car and walking.
 
Could be the Gulf Middle East Lola, know idea though in the dark, huge crash though :(
 
Safety car due to status LMP2 car hitting hard in Porsche curves.
 
Gulf Lola went out early. HVM Status Lola is the car.

I saw the right car but guessed wrong team, driver out talking to safety crew, phew.
 
The #8 will be under a different safety car to the #2 so will gain around half a lap back but will probably lose it as they will have to pit soon, not sure about the #7 being ahead of the #2
 
What happened, SPEED went on break -_- AS USUAL.
 
Driver out. That's best news we could have. Eurosport just went very hushed for a minute. Last thing we want is another serious crash.

Not quite. It was actually an alternator issue and then they found out the car wouldn't start because the crank sensor was damaged, it had to be replaced as well.
 
Was a Lola to suffer the accident right?
 
I was on a birthday party, so i missed the last 6 hours.
Anybody got a quick update for me?
 
That car had one of the onboard cameras in it.
He's ok though. 👍

I'll guess he lost the back end coming into the turn and went in backwards. Nasty.
 
There is almost nothing left of that car. I'm very glad to hear the driver is okay.
 
Thank god he is okay. I was like "oh no, not again".

The impact was massive though.

Indeed! It takes a pretty serious hit to smash a carbon fibre tub that way. Driver looks perfectly ok, he is conscious talking to the marshals and took off his own helmet.
 
Commentary team on Eurosport saying how fortunate it is that the whole rear end of the car has broken off and absorbed the energy of the crash. Driver looks to be out of the car and OK.

Still, on a day like today it's not nice to see anybody crashing...
 
He almost could've came out without opening a door. At least he didn't go too fast into the wall, could've been much worse.
 
Who's with Neville on eurosport? I can't remember his name, I know he's one of the drivers...
