🤬 Your Blitz drift car Kaz :banghead::mad::irked:

Who else is stuck on something they've grown to have a seething white hot hatred for in GT6? :banghead:

It was 101% before the 1.02 update, I also got 99% on mine. The next update with the remaining Red Bull events should bring it to 100%.

Meh I got it. Just had to go shopping on youtube for some strategy and stumbled across a guy using ASM. Never thought if trying that for drifting (kind of counter intuitive). ASM and sport yards in back made all the difference. Normally I'd not use any aids but drifting just ain't my thing so I dont really care in this case lol.

Now just gotta wait for the RB stuff to finally get 100%.

I'm not sure why everyone hates the Blitz ER34 drift challenge. That was one of my favorite ones ... I even did it multiple times for fun and this is coming from someone who golds it and moves on.

I hate drifting in general. And no, not just because I suck at it...though I certainly do suck at it.

1. How the hell have you done it this fast?
2. What is your most used car?
#1. I took multiple vacation and "work from home" days to put in a lot of seat time. Most of the races I golded right away on the first run (I know what you're thinking, no I use no aids but abs 1 and all the cars were 50 to 100pp under limit).
#2. If you look at my stats it will say Veyron but only because I grind it on Route X for Cr. Didn't really have a favorite throughout. As ling as it looks good for pictures and handles good around whatever track I'm on at the time.
I genuinely find it impressive that you can Gold things like mission S-5 without being able to control a car in a slide.
I dont have a problem controlling a slide when its a correction. Purposely continuously holding a 60° rear slip angle is a completely different thing.

I've seen plenty of great drifters that can't win a single race because they can't find a fast line around a track going straight.

Mine went down to 97% after 1.03. I was in 99% too. I don't think the Drift Events count since I haven't even got near them.

I'm stuck at 99% too. And no, drift/cones etc are excluded from 100% completion as far as I know.

Cheers

The game as of now is unfinished so that obviously explains why it's not possible to get more than 99% (since the last update). Once we get the final Red Bull events (and anything else?) we'll probably be able to get 100% (or more).

I play at least 3 hours a day, sometimes more (about the only good thing about not being able to work I guess!) and got 99% in just over 3 weeks (have had the game since day after release and am on my second save after getting 85% on first save). It took about 50 hours or so of driving time to get this far. To be honest, I have found the game pretty easy so far (I use a DS3 and am an average driver)....one or two events have caused me aggro (the Shifter at GT Arena and the final Drift event to name 2) but have not really had any issues with the rest...even the Red Bull at Goodwood only took me 10 minutes to complete. I have recently started playing GT5 again and I probably spent more time golding the first 2 licences on that than all the licences combined in GT6

My most used car currently is the Chapparal 2J with 29 wins and 600 miles driven but I use it to grind the Route X Like The Wind event once a day or so for the last week...second most used is the Nissan GT-R R35 TC with 22 wins and 550 or so miles driven (used this to win most Super level events, plus other such as GT500 races etc)

Stuck at 98% despite completing all the events. I got 2 Silver's and 1 bronze for the other stuff with the rest all gold.

I might try that ASM trick that sms mentioned.

All gold so far and at 99%.
The same for me, it was % 101 in 1.02 update but now % 99 and all events are gold including Races, licence, one makes races, mission races, coffee breaks and special event.

I was actually quite surprised that so far I haven't had a single problem with the RB cars in GT6. Just this stupid drifting :irked:

The drift event is not hard, all you need to do is to change the rear tyres, from comfort softs, to SPORTS HARD, and voila... the car becomes much easier to control and to drift.

Sport hards or comfort hards?

You can't 100% a game that isn't finished.

I switched the rears to comfort hards. Felt like I already had too much grip with CS.
I felt the opposite, not enough grip with CS as the car has a lot of torque. So much wheelspin even for drifing. I struggled with all CS and changing to SH made me get gold at the first try.
And I used no aids, maybe that makes a difference.

Yes I did do that and you are right it became instantly better (just too bad I didn't realize the option was there from the start :dunce:). My biggest problem was stringing it all together. I'd get 3,200 in the first sector and then make a mistake in S2 and get 0 and vice versa with all of them.

Finally I was just like "ok I don't care what I have to do to pass this I just want to be done with it already and go back to racing"

All this is not to say that it was magically super easy to complete even when I turned on the ASM. It's completely different then and admittedly wholly unrealistic. It makes some of the hard sections easier but some of the simpler ones (the high speed mainly) more difficult.

You guys should try with sports hards if you havent, for me its the best way. I tried comfort hards too

Oops... I think I read that wrong... I did switch to sport/hard. Comfort were too slippery. Fine for the front, not the back.
