OK whats the big deal about other people having unlimited credits its just a game and for those who sit around GRINDING all day is pretty silly if you ask me.

I played forza 2 and had unlimited credits from the start and it didn't make the game any better or worse for me or anyone else.

So why does it matter if i can just buy cars i want to race online without having to sit in front of the t.v for hours on end doing the same race or leave my ps3 on for countless hours

I use a projector for a t.v (8ft x4ft) and i cant use it for 100+ hours it takes to get 20 million TO BUY ONE CAR.

You would still have to complete the game to get a 100% completion

But heres my question why does it matter if someone has 999,999,999 credits that never go down?

doesn't bother me none, i really don't care how you or anyone else plays. others seem to get really upset for some asinine reason or another.

I dont think unlimited credits is needed, but the cap should not be the same as the most espensive cars. You shuold have some left to do basic tuning, oil changes, or whatever without having to run a race just to get money to do that. I think 50-100 million would be decent.

See that's the thing there the reason why people have to listen to them cry and scream about it because someone else can buy what ever car they want when they cant

And if you think about it if you were to want to buy a f1 2010 the formula gt and one of those 20 million credit cars you would be in some problems. People have lives and families, work, and hobbies

It kinda sucks video games arent video games anymore

O you don't say??? We know this already. I want it gone that's why I created this thread

That's not what you said;

But heres my question why does it matter if someone has 999,999,999 credits that never go down?

A question that was actually the question you wanted to ask would have been a better question... reading between the lines of your OP led me to genuinely believe that someone had been flaunting a GT5 'authentic-signing' credit hack.

Most people would agree that the limit could be higher (if it had to be there at all) but there's no need to be snotty if people misunderstand the intention of your OP :D

It does feel like work after awhile, i grind every day at work and it's the last feeling i want at home. I use to play GT's after work for fun and relaxation, thats not the case any more.

Also the OP question was very clear if you have any grasp of english and reading comprehension.

I'm coming late to the party here, I'm assuming that unlimited credits isn't possible? Or are we referring to being able to gift the car to another account and get it back again without "spending" any credits?

With unlimited credits why even play? You'd have all the cars. So winning any race you'd get nothing. It's sad that people want everything handed to them without working for it. I'd probably play the game for a few days if it had everything unlocked from the start. It'd be boring having all the cars and no prizes for racing.

That's just comical!

I have to disagree. I play Gran Turismo because it gives me the chance to drive cars I'd never get to in real life. I can spend hours alone doing time trials and tuning different cars. The game doesn't end for me just because I did all the races. I use the money trick each day I play and I have over 6 million credits because of it, and I'm no where near bored. I'm really glad I can afford all of my favorite cars as soon as they show up instead of grinding endlessly for credits.

And just because you have infinite credits doesn't mean that you can buy all the cars right off the bat. You still have to deal with the used car lot.

Then people would just do the used car lot trick of starting a race and ending it at the start to change the cars in the lot. I've got over 800 different cars in the game and never had over 5 million in credit. I've got plenty of cars with the limit set as is. With unlimited credits all cars would be fully tuned and not cost a thing.

I'd like a 50-100,000,000cr limit, personally. What am I supposed to do if two cars over 10 million credits show up in my UCD? If I don't have a chance to grind for enough in between purchases, I'll have to wait for it to show up again. And what if I just blew all my money on a Ford MKIV or something? It's nice to be able to save up for more than one big purchase, even if it is "just" 100 million.

awesome, owned by spell check.

Congratulations but how does the way someone else play the game affect you? If they want unlimited credits so be it, i still don't know see how that affects people that don't.

Well unlimited credits would affect the way I play. I'd already have all 1031 cars fully tuned in my garage and probably spend time playing some of my other games. I love Gran Turismo 5 flaws and all.

But heres my question why does it matter if someone has 999,999,999 credits that never go down?

It matters to people who want everybody to play the way that they play. They dont dupe cars or grind and feel slighted that others do. Misery loves company.

Though I dont have 999,999,999 credits, my automagic Dream Car Indy X1 is steadily padding my wallet.

Yesterday I was 50% of lvl 28, now I'm 50% lvl 30. 👍

Poorly worded question, I thought it related to a hack too.
Also why would you want 999,999,999 credits that never go down, what's wrong with 20,000,000 that never go down, that's all you need.

I think it should be an option wether you have unlimited credits or not. Personally I like to play the games with no cheats but it doesn´t bothe rme at all if othe rguys like to have all the cars. I'd rather work my way up then start at the top and end up playing the game for less time.(Sorry about my english) :P

Is it even possible to get to level 40 without ever doing any of all the events (including seasonal, license and specials) twice or more?

Having unlimited credits and grinding all day are both symptoms of people who have no patience and require instant gratification. There is no need for either. I'm enjoying the game and have neither "grinded" nor abused any exploits to get more money/XP or even had a single car/paint chip gifted to me. Then again, I don't care a thing for PSN trophies nor do I care about what level I am at. Neither are worth jack-s**t in the real world. If they are important to you, then you really need to examine your priorities in life.

The anticipation of wanting something and then finally getting it as a reward for for your achievements is always much better than simply having it handed to you on a plate. I personally find it quite sad that people are so shallow, impatient and fickle that they can't understand this. But in the end I don't care what they do because they are only cheating themselves...

If your goal is to complete all thats in the game; i agree with you.
But if its not; i dissagree.

For me the game could have come with all of the cars in my garage, all tracks unlocked, No credits or levels in the game just install anything you need on whatever car you want.

Reason: i dont want to play the game of leveling an collecting; i want to play the engine. Its the only good thing about GT5! (ok not totally true) Its about the driving for me; different cars on different tracks. I dont even care how it looks; i race in bumpercam..

My goal isn't to complete all of the game - I doubt I ever will. But I'm in no rush to unlock every car - you can only drive one car at once. I'll have fun with what I've got and know that there is always more to come.

It's like having a box of chocolates and then eating them all at once because you are desperate to try every flavour. But then you end up feeling sick and have nothing left to look forward to because of your greed.
