A car that must be in gt 4

I always liked Jaguar, i'm still wondering what happened with jaguar-racing after the succesfull 80s (le mans etc). I'm Glad they made this, a top of 290 KM/H and 0 - 100 in 3.6 sec.

Wouldn't it be nice if PD placed some cars like this one from the same category in the game?

Any one style of the 68 & 69 Dodge Charger, 87 Buick Grand National or GNX, 70 Chevelle SS LS-6, and the 64 Cobra Daytona Coupe Race Car. :D

If I could choose only ONE new car to be in GT4 it would have to be this beast right here...

That is quite possibly one of the ugliest cars i have ever seen.

That sure is a beast... ;) . That jaguar looks pretty nice though. Maybe we'll be seeing it on SPEED soon.

If you have £45,000 spare and like track days this is the car to get. In the recent Evo magazine track day car of the year it was the fastest by a decent margin over even the super-light bike engined Radical SR3. Very sweet car. Not sure if it is street legal though, the Radical is though :)
Check this out for Radical info:

I hope these kind of cars do appear in the game, no road car can touch them on a track.
My friend and I are building a Lotus 7-alike for track days. Not started on the metal yet (moving into a house with a garage soon) but it's going to have V8 power so should be fun, when it's finished I doubt I will play GT4 much :D

Oh and that Pontiac thing is awful. I loved the 70s and 80s Firebirds but that's just plain ugly.

Have you no taste? The Jag is a proper track car. It however is not a Le Mans car or otherwise it's simply there for people to buy and take to track days or whatever. I'd imagine a race series would appear at some point though.

What the hell is wrong with you, the jag looks like a mini GT1 car, where as the pontiac is truly offencive in the way it looks. Who the hell would have black wheels and roof and custard yellow for the rest!!!!! Also too many stoopid edges, just hideous. Whoever let that car pass through the design stage is obviously insane or blind. Also the jag would beat the **** out of the pontiac around a track.

Sure th Jag would win, look at it its a race car. The Trans Am however could probably rape most street cars, pretty much any stock import (not that I don't like imports I'm just saying). That Trans AM has the same engine as a Corvette Z06 I believe, puts out about 325-360 HP maybe more for that yellow model since its the limited edition one, the last one ever made . And to say its slow, let it be known that a nicely done up Trans Am can run a good 6 seconds in the 1/4 mile (specifically a 2001 WS6 and an 1986, both had complete carbon fiber bodies), I've seen it myself on TV and I'm sure other T/A fans can vouch for me . Yeah the color selection may be ugly, but it just looks viscious, I don't know how you could say its ugly. Heres some other pictures

This car is a powerhouse, don't sleep on it !!

If you want American muscle then this is a MUCH better looking car (not pretty but certainly agressive). The Corvette is pretty though.

It's not a Le Mans car! You can buy it!

Well they do do F1, although they don't do that well...

To mackie, any 4.6 litre V8 is unreliable, the parts are to expensive for an OHC cam motor, and the torque band is to high. Aluminum block 5.7 litre chevy motors are the kings of small blocks, please, figure this out.

That mustang looks a million times better than the Firebird. Firebird looks hideous.

I was talking about looks as it happens. I can quite believe you about the engine but that is not what I was talking about. I'd have a Corvette over the Firebird any day even if it's more expensive.

I think it's just a case that we Europeans have more taste and don't like ****-ugly american wank machines. My friend here agrees. Take a look at a TVR Tuscan or a BMW M3 for good looking coupes. Clearly Pontiac employ blind car designers as part of some kind of disability equality policy gone horribly wrong.

6 seconds? A 6 second car will have very very little in common with anything you can buy in the showroom, perhaps the badge :D
I am saying it's ugly, the design is too busy and those front air intakes just look wrong, like some deformed nostrils. It's over the top and probably has no handling finesse, not even the Corvette does by European standards, although I don't doubt at all that they are both very quick cars, I know they are.

Hell there was one on Ebay a year ago

An Audi R8? Well that's kinda cool, but it's still in a totally different league to the JP1. There is no comparison, apart from the fact it looks a bit like a Le Mans racer.

Oh and prey they build the 450bhp Jaguar XKR-R. They wont because it'll tred on the DB7 Vantage's toes but what an awesome car. Grace and real performance :)
