Well, no there is no 7th gear in GT3...this has been asked a lot before, just remember to use the "search" function next time before posting a new thread...;)

On GTC we get that Nissan GTR Concept which has all 7 wholesome gears...:)

Oh, you can so guarantee that the next post will be along the lines of

"But there MUST be a car in GT3 with 7 gears - why is there an option to alter 7th gear in the settings otherwise?"

Fine logic, but PD aren't always slaves to logic.

Just couldn't resist.

Nope. GT2 had a 7 gear car in it as well.

GT1:
Castrol Supra
Mitsubishi 3000GT LM
Dodge Viper GTS-R

GT2
Subaru Pleo

There are lots of cars with 7 gears! - Reverse! - Just had to.

Famine: Do you have to type in Arial and in that colour?

Yes - it's such a trauma, and makes my internet life a living hell. That's why I keep on doing it... Or something... :D

No, that's Graham Norton and The Chuckle Brothers.

Meanwhile I'll contribute something to the original topic...

Cobraboy, did you take that photo? And if you did how did you take the photo with out picking up all the TVs pixels? I've got quite a good digital camera, got any tips?

Hehehe... Nicely done Cobraboy... A small example of just how much the US missed out with GT: Concept. :D

BTW it is of course possible to create a 7-gear car, if you can hybrid. All of the gears are given positive values - including reverse. If you substitute the reverse gear value for a low negative value you can have a 7th forward gear above the range of 6th. But then the car is a hybrid, and you'll be a while getting out of any spins.

A further problem is that while changing from 6th up to 7th/R is easy (you just slap the reverse button), changing down is a nightmare. As soon as you let go of reverse, the car thinks it's in 1st gear - usually at a few hundred miles per hour. You have to change up to 6th to decelerate then change down through the gears... Brrrr!

is concept actually worth buying?
i was going to once but heard bad reviews about it
