Its amusing how all of you are trying so hard to come up with excuses to avoid my challenge like say that "GT5 isnt a hardcore sim" and "manual on a DS3 dont feel realistic." Lame excuses folks. Of course manual transmission on a DS3 doesnt feel realistic but that also includes turning the car, braking, and pressing the gas so by your logic, you shouldnt be driving on GT5 unless you have a steering wheel. Right?
By using manual in a race, you are not only pressing the gas and brake but shifting up and down to add something else in your agenda and to add the challenge of knowing when to shift up and down.
Oh and I love the excuse of "real racers in real life use TCS" well you are correct but I see racers in GT5 that use old classics and cars that have no aids in real life with driver aids on so do you have an excuse for that one too? And regardless of whether a car in real life has driver aids, in real life, you can turn them off thus back to my challenge. Use cockpit view, manual transmission and NO aids
So now another excuse to avoid the interior view. "Its too shaky." Thats just childish. When you are going at 200+ miles an hour, do you think its going to be perfectly smooth.?

That's a good point. I just find that the bumper cam is the closest to how your vision behaves when you drive IRL. I don't tend to 'see' the pillars and my hands on the wheel. I can't ignore them on the screen using cockpit view, it's too distracting for me. It feels like you're sitting too far back as well, even with my wheel and rig up close to the screen.
