Hey guys, I played GT6 today, all was fine, everything worked fine, but now I try to connect and it says this: "A connection to the server could not be established. (ID = 2:6399)"

How do I solve this error?

and how can I know if the PD servers are down or not?
Perhaps it was actually my PS3 as whenever I ran into the problem I just assumed it was the PD servers (maint or instability), shut off the PS3, then tried again later.

Hi, right now I am having the exact same problem but with ID 2:00. Do you know any fix for this? Thanks.

This has been a problem for me since the 1.17 update. I did a ton of googling and found people with similar problems going back to gt5. No solutions.

Typical answers on old gtp posts and other forums were about setting up dmz or port forwarding, changing passwords, clearing cache, etc but none of it helped. Found plenty of people that deleted all their game data thinking it was corrupt just to see the same 2-3 error codes. 2 days ago the problem stopped for the most part.

My network is solid and everything tested and retested and the problem just comes back to their servers. Since the problem comes and goes I really doubt there's a problem with my game data.

It's runnjng fine now and let me into the seasonals.

Edit: also my game was slow in general, the spinning dial that tells you the PS3 is "working/loading" would spin forever. Like enter paint section and paint a car, exit to main screen watch dial spin for over a minute, go into photo mode watch dial spin, main menu spin for 2 min, but right when I unplugged the network the delay stopped. Every selection (offline) clicked immediately. So it just told me this game is talking to their server constantly and not getting through.

Try Google, you'll be amazed at what you can find out with a little effort on your part. :)
Except I did. Usually I don't post the questions as I find most ln the answers on the net, but this time nothing really helps.

EDIT: I may mention that this bug appeared after I started using an internet repeater. I still think it is vers weird as all my other games work but only GT6 has this server issue.

The problem went alone? Mine doesn't let me do seasonals. What is even weirder about my issue is that when i first load the game it connects fine with the connection bonus, and if i go in online lobbies quick enough it works. But if I go into the seasonal and finish a lap, it doesn't save it and shows the message of the problem. After this no way to reconnect agin to the servers without leaving the game..
