Hello , i will keep it simple ,

pd and kaz added some cars now 15 cars as dlc and maybe 7 cars with spec 2.0 update

if you guys remember i think a gtp member uploaded a video that the maximum cars you can put in your garage is 2000 cars , i was thinking what if pd kept adding cars until it reach 2000 cars and everything goes wrong , i know its a very long shot but i cant forget about without telling you guys and see you got about this nightmare ( in my mind ) . :)
 
Should there even be a limit? There is a 7000 item limit too and in a game where they keep introducing new things to collect the "set" of it seems pointless... especially when you cannot even delete duplicate museum cards, you have to send them on to someone else...
 
Had to sell few cars to get my dlc cars i hope that they remove that limit while doing that the cash limit is also stupid

we got now round 1050 cars.. thats still far away from 2000, ok if you collect each color of a car, but huh this doesnt end in a disaster oO

That musuem card thing is a problem...
 
Why don't they set up some kind of "shop" where your friends can label items that they don't want, and you can pilfer if you need them? That might help with duplicates, and sending stuff is a nightmare anyway.

As for limits, there are many practical reasons for doing it. Perhaps there is a limit for the size of the save file. Plus, sorting through a list of several thousand items cannot be fun, nor especially efficiently or quickly done.
 
Well.....there's a little more than 1000 so i don't think anyone will buy 2x's that many and i don't think PD will add over 1000 DLC cars.
 
I don't think we have to worry much. I think the max. amount of cars including DLC is around 1100, so PD can add around 900 more if they want. But if you like to keep duplicates, then it could be a problem.


I think I have around 500 cars so I'm not at the brink yet.
 
I'm sure PD would remove the limit if something like this ever happened..
 
Unless PD add 1,000 DLC cars I'm not too worried. I like to have duplicates of my favourite cars but I'm not going to buy every last car in the game, so it balances out. :D
 
Even for the people with all of the game's cars who also like to keep many duplicates, there are still 300-600 spots in their garage left. I doubt we're even going to get 100 cars as DLC so nothing to worry about. I also don't see why PD would not be able to increase the overall number if it comes to that.

Hardcore collectors & traders. :sly:

There are tons of unpaintable cars, race cars with different numbers/colors, cars you can't get a paint chip from (f.e. Ruf), the GT Academy cars in different colors, all X2010's,...

I am atm at around 1950 cars on my main account. Had already to sell some of my babies. :indiff:

Nothing confirmed till now. :sly:

The Maya calendar will end, but that doesn't mean it's the end of the earth. Maybe we'll get hit from an comet or the aliens coming back & grilling us with their lasers? :boggled:

Till GT6 it's a long time, so it's highly possible that we'll get a lot DLC cars till then. A new garage limit wouldn't be that bad, then the hardcore collectors wouldn't be at least forced to create multiple accounts to "outsource" our cars. :dopey:👍

I guess the end of the world has to be delayed...hey God please take this into account 👍
 
The reason why i got over 1000 cars because every car i see , especially the distance is 0 i buy it immediately .
 
If they kept adding cars and it eventually became 2000 different cars in the game then they would obviously increase the limit of how many you can have
 
Even though the world did not end last May, or this past Friday, and probably won't in 2012 either...I'm inclined to believe it will end before PD addresses all the obvious and easy to fix issues with GT5.
