A F1 car for the first time?

Did anybody ever won a cup or endurance and got a F1 car the first time you did that cup or endurance?

And what cup or endurance was it?

I don't think I have. I might have on the Seattle endurance in my first GT3 game, which I didn't complete to 100%.

I got the F094\S (a.k.a Polyphony 001) after I finished the PD cup the first time... that is 'only time', not like I'll be running that series again now that I beat it.

To continue the conversation, plenty of people I've known have done it with the 787B, which shouldn't be too hard, since that thing's incredibly easy on its tires.

Good lord indeed, I know some have claimed to do it in an R390 GT1 or TS020 GT1, and I did hear that someone did it in a Tommy Kaira ZZ-II, but the Denso Supra.

I think I got my first F1 by using the save and quit cheat. But after I got one or two F1's, they seemed to all start rolling in after that, and after getting 100% I had about 7 or 8 of them

yea, same wtih TS1AWD. I did save and quit cheat.....got the F090/s. then after that came my F686M, which i used to win the formula GT

then i got hte rest, ending up with 2 copies of F090s and F686M

How do you do the save and quit cheat?

It's not really a cheat but it is a trick, you win all the races until you are more than 10 points ahead of everyone else, you save the game after race 9 and quit race 10, because you have more that 10 points difference you still win the cup and if you don't get the prize car you want go to the main menu where you choose GT or arcade mode and re-load the game from the end of race 9 and try again until you get a car you want. It doesn't work for endurance races as it's only 1 race long.

In a series with 10 races, you win the 1st 7, then save the game while in the series. Then skip races 8, 9 and 10, and see which car you win. If it's not the car you like, you just load again, and skip the last 3 races again.

Oh cool, but that doesn't that work for endurances, I think?

No ... an endurance is a single race. Only works in the series races where you have to score points.

Thanks a lot! That really helped, I just won my first formula 1 car, a polyphony 001, by winning the Dream Car Championship in for the third time in 2 days . That's the reason I started this thread, I wanted to know how many people were lucky.
This is my first F1 car. It's not the one the prize cars says on the site, that's a 728HP/13000rpm. Mine is 790HP/14000rpm, a bordeaux one.

I recently did the Trial Mountain 2-hour enduro for the first time and I got the F094\H. I don't always have this kind of luck though, once I did the SSR11 50 lapper and I got the "fantastic" 'Autobacs MR-S'.

I just won my second F1 car by winning the 100 miles endurance in Seattle!

I won it the first time I did that endurance! It's a polyphony 002:

most people here use cars that are evenly matched or underpowered from the opponents. let their driving "skill" keep up with the comp.

Depends on the race, if the AI use slower cars so will I.

I always use fast cars because I want to complete it fast, otherwise they take so long and they are already.

If you've got the time then use a lower powered car to the AI, it's much more enjoyable when your racing with another car rather than 5 laps in front on your own.

Usually 10 or more laps . But if it's a endurance you don't need a certain amount of laps, then I use a slower one.
