Amen.

However, the shift from 2nd to 3rd requires some practice to keep her in there.

I had to learn to drag her out to just past her redline before shifting to keep the 'tec in play from 2nd to third.

Third to fourth i switch faster than light can move, but by the time i go for fifth, there's not really any point keeping the 'tec in, cos she's nearing the end of the torque curve by then.

Vti's are where it's at.

I own USDM DC5 (RSX-S)

Just a few of the engine mods: Skunk2 Stage 3 Cams, Apexi N1 Exhaust, Racing Flywheel, Spoon Intake Manifold, Spoon Headers 4-2-1, with 2 1/2" catback, and Kpro tune. 250 whp.

Vtec kicks in at 4800 RPM till 9200 RPM. And belive me, once vtec kicks in, traction isn't even a word anymore! No traction from 1-3rd gear and into 4th gear as well ;)
