Ah - you see, the joy of the abdominal region is that for guys, it's the first place all the fat goes!

It kills me to see people spend thousands of dollars on various pieces of abs exercise gear, when the first thing they need to do is actually reduce their body fat level!

You can't spot reduce, unfortunately, so until you trim off the excess fat you're going to be flabby there (trust me on this one).

Abs exercises are always a good idea anyway, because they help with posture and core stability, so you're more effective with other exercises and less likely to hurt your back.

The two I do are the bicycle manuever, and the leg raise on the swiss ball. I'll sniff around and try to get you descriptions. The bicycle manuever is meant to be the most effective ab exercise.

This gives a good guide: http://www.healthatoz.com/atoz/healthupdate/alert05222001.html

Yea I need to lose a bit of fat to let my 6 pack shine through, I workout daily so it'll be there :D

Problem is I do a lot of bodybuilding so eat high calories/protein :Pizza: to add on bulk :barbell: and inevitably some of it gets placed round the waist
