I would like to see a PP based reward system. So you can use any car you like within the parameters (age, type, nationality, etc), but if you use a very fast car then you wont get much points. If you pick a car which is evenly matched to your opponents then you'll win big.
I was thinking somewhere along these lines:
Take the mean average PP of the opponent cars.
Divide this by the PP of your own car, and multiply the result by itself (squared) to get a 'multiplier'.
Then apply the multiplier to the base prize for that race. So if you picked a car that has 300PP, and the average of your opponents is 250PP, then your multiplier would be 0.69, so you would only get 69% of the base reward for that race. The other 31% could be called a 'fine'.
If you picked a car that has 300PP, and the average of your opponents is 400PP, your multiplier would be 1.77, so you would win the base reward, plus an additional 77% 'bonus'.
What do you think?
EDIT: If you like my idea then please vote for it here.
